i was having the same problem the other day and i figured out that you have to select a photo for the gallery picture separate from the regular photos. If you click on the drop down menu next to 'GALLERY IMAGE ($)' that should include the photos you have already uploaded to the auction. For some reason it renames the photos in that list too. It had changed the name of my photo to '1'

i am not sure if this will solve your problem or not but i hope it does.

YES IT HAS! It shows up perfectly in the preview.

In your listing editor under the images section, make sure both "eBay header image" and "Gallery image ($)" have pictures selected.

It's also a good practice to run the error check before listing or saving. There has been many times a scoll box moved, or I forgot something.
