No Images - what's up?

So about only half of my images are showing up in half my listings. The thumbnails all show up in the "View Sellers Items" and images are showing up in my Auctiva store, but the actual listings - there's nothing in many of them! :::sigh::: I don't know how long this has been going on, but for the last hour (10:30pm - 11:30pm EST) they've been gone, re-appeared, then gone again. For all I know, this has been happening all week!

I read about the issues Auctiva has been having with image hosting this week, but I thought the problems had been resolved. Anyone else still having problems?

PS - this is my first week back to eBay after not selling for a couple of years and that's been a bit a stress in itself. Now I'm feeling like I'm not doing as well as I could have due to Auctiva's photo hosting problem. Is it always like this? Should I start looking into other options? Dang! I was just starting to get comfortable with using all the features!

Look at the other postings going back to last week. Yes, it happens. Yes, there are options. Last week, I was lucky enough to be among a select group that lost ALL images uploaded before the last 2.5 weeks. I was advised to retake the photos and reload each and every one. I have an ebay store and put all of my unsold auctions there--had been since day one of auctiva membership. But all those pics--and thus items and sales--are now gone. All I pray is that my new auction pics will come back tonight. Post a support request and cross your fingers. Hope this helps you.

I was beginning to think that something was terribly wrong with my PC. I was right in the middle of uploading and all that I tried to upload failed. Luckily, I only have one auction on Ebay right now. Unfortunately, because of this server problem with Auctiva, no one can see just how cute this auction item is. Hope they resolve this quickly and at least keep it from happening again. Maybe they need to upgrade their server.

I too am unable to upload any images, and have apparently lost all my (about 800) carefully edited, stored images, and no pictures are visible in any of my 20+ current auctions ending tomorrow.

Thanks for the responses --- sorry you're all having problems, too. I did read posts from earlier this week, but I thought the problems had been resolved.

The good news is: as of Sun. 10am EST, my photos are showing ... for now. The question is, will they be there this evening when the auctions are ending? And will I be able to upload the photos I need to use for new listings tonight? I guess I'll find out soon.

I'm missing about 75% of all my pictures as well. It looks like the last 2-3 weeks are OK, but ALL my earlier store listings are missing.

Auctiva had an image server problem on Saturday, April 21. Their technicians had everything back on-line at about 1:30 AM EDT on Sunday morning.

In this age of technology, these things will happen once in a while. Kudos to Auctiva for identifying and solving the problem as quickly as they did - especially in the middle of the night on a weekend. The Auctiva tech team should be commended for a job well-done!
