I am trying to list an online product that does not require any shipping. However there doesn't seem to be an option that allows for this. I haver tried it many ways and check for error and it works but then after posting comes up with an API error "At least one valid postage service must be specified."

I recall an expert saying there was a special way to list online products and unfortunately I cannot find that information. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Maureen,

Thanks for posting your question here.

I believe the item you have described would be classified as a “digitally delivered good” and, unfortunately, eBay Australia does not allow the sale of such products on their website as described on the following page of their Help index:

http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/...es/downloadable.html

Ebay.com (US), on the other hand, has a more lenient policy governing the sale of digitally delivered goods, which you can read more about at:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/downloadable.html

If you feel that the item you wish to sell in this manner would not be covered by this policy, I recommend contacting eBay's Customer Support team for further clarification on how you should complete the Shipping Tools fields when listing the item.

I hope this points you in the right direction.

-Mike
