Hi,

Does anyone know of a good company providing a low cost or free online store that will interact nicely with Auctiva, so I can just copy from Auctiva and paste into the store. I tried eCrater, it is nice but won't accept html or my image links, I sometimes have up to 20 images in my listings. Vendio is pretty good, I have used them in the past, but am looking for another store. The "store" with Auctiva is not really a store, I want to sell non-eBay items directly. ProStores is a litte pricey, anything else out there?

Thanks,
Rick

Please (and this is crucial) use a checkout redirect that takes the buyer to our Auctiva Store to pay for anything purchased via eBay.

Also, a real shopping cart experience, please.

Have you seen the shopping carts available that allows the seller to list a regular price and then states, place item into shopping cart to view sale price? This is a great feature. It gets the buyer to place items in their carts. Once in the cart, they're more likely to buy it.

Newsletter / mailing list capture is important.

Uploads to Froggle / Google Base.

Multiple payment methods (merchant, PP, eChecks, etc).

Security features.

Ability to stock unlimited product.

Control over design options.

Ease of use for both buyer and seller.

I'm soooooooooo damn excited! Keep us posted.

Smile
Hi Booksusa, In answer to your question. There are a few out there with some functionality to them. One that comes to mind is (freewebs.com)and I think they are going to be changing their name to just webs.com So, your site addy will be something like (booksusa.webs.com) which will be pretty decent since it sheds the free part of the name. There are others out there but I cant think of any off the top of my head right now. If I think of some more, I will post back. Take care, William Smile

As a new member enjoying the savings Auctiva provides for posting to eBay, I've been trying to research whether or not Auctiva is going to (or already does) offer a stand alone non-auction storefront. I'd be up for buying a fresh domain name and setting it all up with Auctiva checkout, but I'm not seeing that as a true option. It seems it's been a request (and promise of the future) for almost two years. I'm ready to jump onto godaddy's new store offer, but wanted to verify auctiva's nonparticipation before doing so. Thanks!
The last post I saw on this subject was Auctiva's intention to have a stand alone store set up in time for next Christmas.

The general advice now is to spread over more venues where possible and if you are going to volume sell as part of an existing business to seriously consider your own site.

I now sell on small UK site as well as greedbay and will certainly try out Auctiva's facility when it comes to fruition as well. Smile
