I've recently had a problem where no shipping information is being imported into my PayPal shipping when I print a label. This has been going on for a week. Is it an Auctiva problem? I specify everything when I list the auction, so I don't know why nothing is importing. I have to re-weigh and measure all my items now. This is ridiculous. And it stopped working on May 13, right before the USPS rate changes. If that is an issue, PayPal should have fixed it by now. Any ideas? I'm also looking for a PayPal alternative besides Endicia! I want to move out of PayPal asap due to all their problems and find something that works. Anyone try AuctionSound?

It is not an Auctiva problem to my knowledge. I think the problem is with PayPal. It won't even import address for me on auctions that don't pay by PayPal. Even when I manually insert the address and can print the shipping label, I can't find a way to print a packing slip. Says something about no transaction id. I also have to re-choose my shipping service on about half of my sales even though it shows correctly on my invoices. My problems started about the same time as yours. My eBay preferences are set. I use a set shipping fee and not the calculate shipping. I'm sure they will fix it soon and find another problem for us to deal with. I keep plugging along. It beats the alternative. Smooth sailing is just a dream.
I love Auctiva! They put some fun into it and take some of the boredom out of listing.
My rant is against the new shipping from the USPS. They sure made it complicated. I was just getting brave enough to try International shipping but now I'll wait and see.
I've never heard of AuctionSound.
I just had the same problem today where someone payed with a money order. I could print the label but not the packing slip, no transaction ID. I've done international shipping in the past and it was not hard. You just have to fill out the forms completely. Supposedly the forms are now electronic, but if they work as well as the rest of PP shipping tools, you'll be doing it the hard way. I agree with the USPS changes. Total garbage. Monstrous step backwards. Useless, complicated, serving nobody but USPS. Utterly and totally retarded move by USPS. I hate it. I would hate it a lot less if eBay, PP, and the USPS would actually work together like they claim to be doing and come up with a way to calculate it automatically. Supposedly calculated shipping does this if we enter the proper package size, service type, and weight. But we shouldn't have to reenter all of it again when we get to PayPal, especially since PP purports to be an eBay company. How can a company owned by eBay be so disconnected when it comes to printing labels?
For what it's worth, package weight has migrated to PayPal on some of my listings. I think it has to do with whether it is Priority Mail or First Class. I wasn't paying attention, so I'm not sure which one it worked for. I use calculated shipping and USPS-branded Priority Mail boxes whenever I can, to save myself as much headache as possible. Still -- the prices are now very high, which I think will be a deterrant for impulse buyers...
