Auctiva when you first started, your loading times for store scrolling window was great!! NOW - I just started using store window again and either they say "image loading" and have blue only or half load. Do you know this will make people hit the back button? Please fix this. I know it's not my connection I have a really fast connection. Thanks.

I seem to have the same problem every day here lately- I look at my listings and there seems to be a problem with the store window - I spend a lot of time fiddling with the window. Is it still at 12 images? Just cuious if there were any changes I am not aware of. I list items almost daily and change what I want displayed often and I just get a little frustrated when I go back and look at the window and there's no pic. Thanks for letting me vent!
Good Morning hot. No the window shows 16 images now, and they have plans to raise it to 20.

I do know that it takes sometimes up to 6 hours for the gallery window to update. If it hasn't updated by then I'd file a help ticket.

You know when you go in and select what you want to show, when you select hidden on items they will also not show in your auctiva store? Just thought I'd mention this. It would be nice if we could show in the window the images we want. All Auction items will over ride store items in the gallery window and it shows ending soon items first.
I dont mean to be rude but youre highjacking my thread hippo-

It's "easy" to make your own thread about this!

Back to original topic please!!!!!!!!!!!

I noticed the images show during slow times. Do not show during Ebay high traffic times. I host my own pics on my own website and know when these times are. So is it a "bandwidth" problem you are having auctiva?

When will you fix this, or will you?
You know there are other services that offer the scrolling window. I do not want to upset auctiva staff so I am not going to publish here who the other service is. But if your interested email me robancas@msn.com

I have seen on going problems with the auctiva scrolling store since I joined in Nov 05 and made a decision not to use it. The way I figure is that I am saving so much on image fees and scheduling that it benefits me to pay a small fee of $2.95 a month to have another scrolling store that always works and updates almost immediatly with new auctions.

Just my pennies worth.
Hi Community,

To those of you who are experiencing difficulties with images not loading in the store window...The reason for this is because we had an image server go down, which has caused the speed at which images are served into the store window to decrease dramatically. Consequently, many images are timing out when they are loading, causing the message loading image to be continually displayed. We are in the process of installing a brand new image server and we should have it up and running smooth by the end of the week. Once we have the appropriate images transferred onto the new file server, store window images should be loading quickly again.

We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience with regard to this matter.

Same here... several pics not showing again today in my scrolling window. Most just say "Image Loading". I had several potential buyers email me since Thursday asking why they couldn't view my store items, so I did lose sales, and that I'm not too happy about. Seems like my store is okay today, so I'm not too worried about the scrolling window. It doesn't show my entire inventory anyway. Would like to see this ongoing problem fixed soon though!
Confused
Hi Community,

The store window should be loading for everyone now. If you store window images are still not loading, please try clearing your cache via the following process:

In Internet Explorer go to the Tools menu, click the Internet Options menu item, then click the "Delete Files" and "Delete Cookies" buttons.

In Firefox, go to Tools -> Clear Private Data -> Check Cache and Cookies -> Clear Private Data Now.

Remember to close all browser windows but one while clearing your cache.

While, the store window images are loading for all accounts on our end, we are still receiving cases stating that some store window images are not loading, which leads me to believe images are still timing out for some users.

We will be installing a some more image file servers next week, which should help to alleviate this issue for all. Anyway, if your store window images aren't loading on your computer, be assured that they are loading on our end, so they are likely loading for most of your customers as well.

None of your suggestions worked. It would be nice if there was some type of notification for users when things are not working correctly.
