I created a few that I'm using, however I can NOT for the life of me (When I hit edit) figure out how to change the picture LOCATION. Now I have it set to upper left, but I need to move it down. How can I edit the picture display section in my template? Confused

Been at this for days now. Frustrated.

Thanks so much!

Hi toccoah74,

Thanks for posting your question here. When you are using a custom template for your Auctiva created listings, there are specific custom template tags within the template that tell our system where the images you select in each listing for which the template is used should be placed.

You can either use the [DESCRIPTION_AND_IMAGES] tag to specify where both the images and description should be placed within the template or you can use individual image tags, which look like [IMAGE1], [IMAGE2], [IMAGE3], etc to specify where each individual image should be placed within the template.

If you use the [DESCRIPTION_AND_IMAGES] tag, which all of our template use by defaul, you will be able to use the "Grouping" and "Alignment" options on the Template Layout area on the listing creation page to adjust the positioning of the images and description on a listing by listing basis.

The images that you select in the listings you create using your custom template will show up exactly where these custom template tags are placed within the template so you should be able to change the location of the images by changing the location of these custom template tags.

On the other hand, if you are just looking to change the positioning of a static image that you have incorporated into the custom template design, you should be able to do so by clicking the "Standard" link above the custom template editor, then selecting the image with your cursor and dragging it to the desired location.

I hope this helps. If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our customer support team by mousing over the "Help" tab and selecting the "File Support Case" option.
