Hi,
I'm very new to auctiva and also to selling items on ebay. All this while I've only been using ebay to buy stuff. When I decided to start selling, I also decided to use auctiva for my listings, that was about a week ago.
My first listings (3 listings) last week were removed by ebay and my account was put on restriction due to this. The reason given was -
'We have ended the following listing(s) on your account as they appear
to have been listed by a third party without your authorization'
I managed to get my account restored then. I tried listing for the second time. This time i tried listing only one item. I used my saved listings folder to relist. After a few hours, my listing was removed again and this time my account was suspended. The reason they gave me this time is the exact same reason as the first removal - listing done by an unauthorized third party.
It took four days to have my account unsuspended. I tried listing again yesterday, again using the saved listing option and again my listing was removed and my account restricted.
Why is this happening? I have generated a token the minute I activated my account. At first I thought I needed to generate one token for each one listing. I also thought because I used only one token to list three items has lead me to this problem. I then tried generating one token for each listing but it doesn't solve the problem.
I thought the use of token is to prevent ebay from thinking that a third party is trying to tamper my account but in my case it doesn't seem to work. What could have been the cause of the problem? What am I missing? Should I stop using auctiva? Please help me, I really want to be able to use auctiva but until now haven't been successful
Thanks,
Frustrated Newbie
