Hi. I'm probably a moron and that's why I cannot figure this out. I downloaded Auctiva this morning, downloaded the latest version of Firefox, restarted, etc. BUT how in the heck do I get into Auctiva? It does not show up in my programs, there is no shortcut on my desktop. The only way I can find it is to physically type the www.auctiva, etc. Nope, I'm not very computer literate...but surely this is simple.....i'm ready to start using it, but i have been using turbo lister and it has a shortcut that I just clicked on...what am I doing wrong? thanks...i'm ready to begin listing...

Hi - Auctiva has two websites: the one you are on now which is the free service, (auctiva.com), and Classic Auctiva, (classic.auctiva.com), which is the paid service. The free service is a web based program and thus requires no download, just sign up, read the tutorials, and start using it. The paid service requires a download(s) and their users forums are at the bottom of the 'Auctiva Message Boards' page under 'Classic Auctiva Software'. For specific issues regarding that software, that is the place to ask the questions.

If you downloaded off the paid site, you should be able to find that download on your computer. You could do a search to find the file, or post on the Classic forum, or you can file a support request from the help page if all else fails and the support folks will be glad to lend a hand. Welcome aboard.Smile

see, told you I was a moron. I completely thought I downloaded something and couldn't understand why I couldn't find it. I've downloaded turbo lister, auction defender, etc., so I thought this was the same thing. Now I get it....web based....duh....ok, blonde moment. So my next dumb question is this....when you schedule listings, how do they upload? do i have to be on auctiva at that time...i know, dumb question, but on turbo lister i knew how it worked....
ok, i found the answer to my last dumb question. for anyone else that needs to know, No, your computer does not need to be on for the listing to launch. if you have more than one scheduled to list at the same time, they all list at the same time without being online, etc. YEA...MAYBE I CAN GET THIS AFTERALL! Now if i can just figure out the pictures....ha
Like any new program, there is a learning curve and everyone has questions(this forum is proof) so please don't think your questions are dumb. Once you have created your listing on the listing page(do yourself a favor and read the tutorials) you can then either post to ebay right away, or schedule it. If you schedule it, Auctiva will post it at that time automatically with no further participation required by you. Your listing will also remain in a 'saved' folder in Auctiva, which you can open, revise, delete, repost at some future time, whatever you wish to do with it. Once you get over the learning hurdles, I think you are really going to love this program. I haven't used Turbolister, but everyone says it beats TL hands down.
