Posting listings to Ebay....

For a few weeks now, everytime I create a listing on Auctiva to post on Ebay, it will not let me edit the listing once it is on Ebay. Once it is listed on Ebay and I go to "edit my listing" on there, it will not let me edit the description. It is just a jumble of letters and numbers and wont let me add on to it or edit it. Anyone else having the same problems??

best advice is to file a HELP desk ticket

Hover over HELP in the upper Right corner and pick Submit Help desk request (or something to that effect)

Please file a support ticket, as ed suggested and keep us posted here.

i also recommend that you look at the listing on ebay and see if it is accurate (before you click on the revise button).

please let us know what supports says.

So long as your listing doesn't end within 12 hours and have no bids, or unless eBay is having technical issues, there shouldn't be any reason why you cannot edit it. When you have clicked to revise the listing on eBay, are you in Standard or HTML mode? The option is at the top of the description box--if you are in HTML mode, you will see a bunch of random code.

Got it figured out! Auctiva Rebecca pointed out the problem. It was in HTML mode instead of standard for some reason. I have to click the box on every listing because Ebay automatically puts it into HTML

that's a recent change in ebay they used to start in the standard which made sense
