Problems listing on eBay.de with Auctiva - strange error message

Hi, last night I tried to list on ebay Germany but got this message, can someone advise please?...(I've translated it to English with Google translator further down the page)

"Hinweis zum Einbinden von Videos und zur Verwendung von Skriptsprachen Um Videos in die Artikelbeschreibung einbinden zu dürfen, müssen Sie bestimmte Kriterien erfüllen. Mehr zum Thema Videos einbinden.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Verwendung anderer aktiver Inhalte grundsätzlich nur in seltenen Fällen und nur unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen zulässig ist. Weitere Informationen hierzu finden Sie im Grundsatz zur Verwendung von Skriptsprachen."

Here it is in English...

I've tried taking out the HTML I use and I've also tried hosting the photos on Auctiva instead of externally but it still doesn't work, someone suggested that Auctivas scrolling Gallery may not be welcome on eBay Germany but I'm not sure how that can happen, considering I'm using Auctiva to list on the site!

Can anybody please explain?

One thing you can try is to use the "GetHTML" feature on the saved listings page. Then go to eBay.de directly and list the item there.

Sometimes eBay gives better error messages on their site and you might be able to better understand what is wrong with the listing that way.

I'm having big trouble posting a listing to ebay.de.

The first time I tried to put on a listing, although I chose ebay Germany, currency was still US$.

I tried to give an alternative to paypal (bank transfer) but an API error occured that told me that in order to accept bank transfers I have to give my bank account to ebay.de first. But when I tried to edit my listing I got that:

This is the error ID I get all the time.

Tough job to post anywhere else than ebay.com!

I kept receiving the same eBay.de API error that the original poster described- indicating that I was using videos or javaScript in my listing although I was not- and it was driving me mad! After hours of trial and error, I'm happy to say that I FINALLY figured it out and I'd like to share what worked for me...
Go to My Account > Account Preferences > Listing Enhancements. Make sure all the Auctiva add-ons are turned OFF. That includes the Scrolling Gallery, BuyShield Warranty Widget, Battlebids, and Sellathon Counter. I think the BuyShield Warranty Widget was the main problem, but just to be safe I turned off all the listing enhancements.

I guess eBay.de does not support Auctiva's ads?

Anyway, I hope this solution helps!
