You need to use specific tags to position the description and images within your template. You can position the images seperately from your description by using the [DESCRIPTION] tag and then [IMAGE1], [IMAGE2] etc where you want each image to appear. Alternatively you can use Auctiva's image layouts by simply placing the [DESCRIPTION_AND_IMAGES] tag within your template.
I can undertand how to use autivas description or description ans images tags when making a templatefrom scratch mysefl. However this premade template is SO complicated..I can't seem to get the hang of what to change on hers like she has "<!--------------------------------------------Start Image Code---------------------------------------------->
<!---If you wish to add more than one Image just highlight everything between Start Image Code and End Image Code and Select Copy then Paste--->

<div align="center">
<center>
<table border="1" cellspacing="15" width="40%" style="border: 3px double #000000; ; " id="AutoNumber4" background="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v737/Prettyprincessbowtique/templates3/parisswiss2.jpg">
<tr>
<td width="100%" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" style="border: 1px solid #000000; ">
<p align="center">
<img src="####YOUR IMAGE URL HERE"></td>
</tr>
</table>
</center>
</div><BR><BR>

<!-------------------------------------------End Image Code----------------------------------------------->

which part of hers do I remeove and replace with auctivas and then in description

<!--------------------------------------------Type Description Below---------------------------------------------->
####YOUR DESCRIPTION HERE
<!---------------------------------------------Type Description Above--------------------------------------------->

</font></p>
<p align="center">
 </p>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</center>
</div><p align="center">
<BR> </p>
<div align="center">
<center>
<table border="3" cellspacing="20" width="80%" cellpadding="5" id="AutoNumber5" background="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v737/Prettyprincessbowtique/templates3/parisswiss1.jpg" style="border: 3px double #000000; ; ">
<tr>
<td width="100%" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" style="border: 1px solid #000000; "><p align="center">

I've tried replacing her decription area with autivas tags and totally messed it up.
so I'm just leaving it alone for now as is too confusing.

thanks,Renee
I am also having problems putting my custom template into auctiva. When I go to load my template, it gives me a description error. So I put in the description code and then it show the paragraph that describes what goes in that space. I tried putting the description of the item behind the description code and it does put my description in but then it also includes auctiva's wording of what the description code does. Can someone help me?
I'm reading all of these questions on "purchase custom templates" because I am looking at one I would like to purchase and use. I was going to ask how to go about loading it in to auctiva? I see there are some problems. My knowledge of HTML is very very little. The template I am looking at is just copy and paste info. Please I would like an expeienced opinion on this. Thank you. Happy Holidays !
