Hi Everyone!
I have a question re: ebay store fees. I am new to opening a store and am a little unclear as to how the fees work. To give you background, I sell new name brand children's clothing. Now, what is the difference between listing something for 30 days or 'good til cancelled'? What are the advantages/disadvantages? What the are surcharge fees listed with some of the fee levels?

Here is the link that I am looking at re: fees.

Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated!

I pay my $15.00 a month for my store subscription.
If I place an auction in my store for oh say...the 30 day length..it's .02.
If I decide to add gallery...it's .01.
If I decide to go with the 60 day length the cost is different and so on and so on.

The final value fee's are different, too. Varies depending on the cost of the item as I'm sure you've seen.

I'm not sure how much more in depth you need to me to explain.

Oh by the way, if you put up 7 day auctions those auctions will go into your store but normal eBay fee's for that type auction still apply.

Take care, Donna
Thanks for the help Donna. I guess I was just confused between the difference between a 30 day listing and listing something "good until cancelled" which also lasts 30 days. Looks like they are about the same except maybe I can end the "good until cancelled" ones before the allotted time. I will just have to experiment to figure this out.

Thanks again!
Marcia
