Hi,

I just received an e-mail "Re: Attention: Relink your Auctiva account with eBay !!!", it goes on to say

"Dear valued member,

Due to Auctiva server issues you will not be able to list on eBay until you relink your Auctiva account with eBay and generate your token.

A token is a unique identifier from eBay that allows you to use Auctiva securely without requiring you to give us your eBay password.

Click the button to relink your Auctiva account and generate your token on eBay. This takes only a few seconds, then you will be returned to our site."

Is this for real or some sort of spam/scam?

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT click on the link in the email. To check your token status, go to Auctiva>My Account>eBay Settings. On that page you will find "Token Status." If it is green and says "Valid" you are good to go. If it is red, then hit "Get New Token." ONLY do this from Auctiva. Do not click on anything in the email, no matter how official it looks. Good Luck.

Thanks for the advice. I checked my account and the Token Status light is green so it seems this very official looking Auctiva e-mail is yet more spam!

By the way it looks practically identical to other Auctiva e-mails I have received recently!

Can someone from Auctiva confirm this latest scam??
