Hi there.

I'm new to this to, and am still acclimating myself with everything. So far I've only posted some listings: I haven't even begun to organize my 'store' and storefront, nor work with all the other fantastic tools/personalization options on the basic FREE model that's offered here. (Still can't go over that they're giving this much for FREE: no charged fees).

Anyway, that said, as I've been sifting through some pages and getting familiar with how to set up and personalize a 'store' I just happened to notice something that I think pertains to what you're asking about here, (RE: how to edit a listing on the auctiva host site AFTER you've already posted it to ebay.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for or not, but I thought if it just happens to be I might pass along ....

On the Auctiva home screen hit the 'store' tab up near the upper right hand side of screen. From there hit tab for 'edit store items'. Your screen then should populate with a listing of all your currently running listings that you've posted through auctiva. BUT ...

From there I'm not clear if you can edit (edit the photos on your listing) directly through auctiva -- or -- if you have to link to revise via ebay. And the latter is the case, then ebay will probably assert FEES of some kind.

Anyway there you for whatever it's worth. -- Best, Deana

PS: If this isn't what you were looking for and you were able to find the info. then please let me, as I'm quite sure it will be useful for me to know this information for future use.
Thanks for the reply. Long story short, that's not it. Basically, you're sent to the ebay listing, where I've already edited the picture out so that it does not display.

The problem is when you click on the pictures for the supersize view, you're taken off ebay to Auctiva's image hosting site. There, the picture still exists and displays.

I'm probably going to have to open a service ticket to get an answer to this one. Whatever I discover, I'll post here.

I put an incorrect picture on one of my listings. While I can edit the listing in ebay to remove the one photo, when you click on the supersize option, the photo is still there. Is there any way to remove a photo in an active listing from the Auctiva host?

Thanks!

Hi there, welcome to Auctiva. I'm fairly new and read the Auctiva Email Digest each day. I find wonderful information here that has been posted by seasoned sellers. (By the way, thanks to all of you for all your help with newbies, it is truly appreciated!) Anyway, when I find a thread that explains something I need to know, I copy and paste it into WORD and save it in a folder I've created "Auctiva." Here is the information that I think will help you!
HOW TO REPLACE AN IMAGE IN AN ACTIVE LISTING
1. Locate the listing in your Saved Listings folder and click on its title to open it in the one-page lister.
2. Scroll to the Image section.
3. If you would like to take a few pictures out, click the Remove link under each picture you would like to remove from the listing.
4. If you would like to replace all the pictures or add pictures to the listing, click on any image to bring up the image selector pop-up window. To replace all the pictures, click the blue Reset button at the top of the pop-up. Then, click on the pictures you would like to appear in the listing. You should see numbers appear on each picture to tell you the order in which the pictures will appear on your listing. To add additional pictures to the listing, simply click on them. You should see numbers appear on each new picture indicating they are being added to the images that are already there.
5. When your image changes are complete, scroll to the bottom and click the Save button.
6. Return to the Saved Listings page and check the box next to your updated listing.
7. Click the HTML link on the right and copy the HTML in the popup box.
8. Locate the item on eBay and click the "Revise Item" button.
9. Click "Edit Description" then click the "Enter your own HTML" tab.
10. Paste the copied HTML in place of what's there and save your changes.
HOW TO ADD IMAGES TO AN ACTIVE LISTING
1. Log into your Auctiva account
2. Click on the "Listings" tab
3. Click on the "Active Listings" link
4. Check the box next to the listing you would like to add images to
5. Click the blue "Add Images" button
HOW TO WATERMARK IMAGES
1. Click on the Images tab.
2. Then click the Manage Images link.
3. Mark the checkbox next to the image you would like to watermark. Currently, we do not support the watermarking of .gif images. Note: You can choose multiple images to watermark at once, but if the sizes of the images are extremely different, there is a chance each image will not be watermarked exactly the way you want it. For this reason, we suggest you watermark each image individually.
4. Click the Watermark button.
5. You will see your image and any Warnings that pertain to watermarking that image. Please read the Warnings carefully.
6. Type the desired text, select the text color and watermark size for your watermark and click the Preview button. Note: Use the Preview button each time you make a change to the text or text color.
7. Choose the opacity of your watermark using the slider.
8. Once you are happy with the watermark, click the Watermark button at the bottom of the page. Note: If you are watermarking numerous images at once, the watermarking process might take some time. Please do not hit your browser back button.
9. You will be taken back to the Manage Images page with a confirmation at the top. Your image is now permanently watermarked
