schedule time, what is EST/COT? | Auctiva

HI,
I scheduled 3 listings this morning for 11 am EST/COT but the listings were posted on 12 pm EST an hour later than I scheduled. I thought EST means Eastern standard time. WHat is COT then? Is it Central time? If so why the scheduled time shows 11:00 am EST/COT??? What is this mean?

Hi Kim.
EST is Eastern Standard Time and COT is Continuous Time of Day. This does not take Daylight Savings Time (DST) into consideration.
Possible fix is to click on 'My Account' and then 'Settings' right under it. Then click on 'Account Settings' and look under 'Listing Management'. There is a little check box that mentions Daylight Savings Time. Using that may help your situation.

The setting is "Adjust for daylight savings time" in your account settings.
