Hi Alison are these newly posted items? The scrolling gallery updates roughly every 4 hours so if you posted your items during that time window in between they will be there next cycle

However, they are not new listings. I am new to Auctiva and thought the scrolling images appeared automatically in the eBay listing when I listed new items, obviously not. What do I have to do to make them appear automatically?

Hi Alison go to this link and check your listing enhancements. http://www.auctiva.com/account/preference.aspx Make sure "append scrolling gallery to my listings" is checked yes. If that does not work I would file a support request through the link on the help page.
You are right it should automatically be there . yes is the default setting for Auctiva.
