Indeed I do have broadband and as I posted recently, my responses were in the 10 second range, a speed I have not seen in a good long time. So what changed? Can it be Opera 11.6? Remember, Auctiva does not code for Opera, yet it blows the socks off all the other browsers whenever I use it for Auctiva. I just count my blessings when it is this fast because i KNOW due to their outstanding testing, it will revery back to what it was or worse once they accidentally change something they weren't working on. I believe Auctiva is running like Computershare, my old company hat bought us out in 2005. They did not have their programmers communicate with others on the team as to what they were doing. It's very easy to corrupt perfectly good software when you do that as they are not testing as a group, only as individuals. I do think Opera 11.6 may have something to do with it as it was updated to better process HTML5 and CSS3.

way cool I completely forgot reading that.
Well Mike I believe you have the proof that what you did the last time worked. With Greg-T now getting 10 second response time I'd say you smashed the heck out of that issue. I do wish we had a had heads-up as it would have made most folks life a lot better and certainly a lot less frustrating for all concerned. I don't expect my response time to improve as my Internet is slow and all the Disk I/O, a lot no doubt is pictures being uploaded. However, the drive light is on a lot even when pictures are not being uploaded.
As long as everyone else is happy than I say Great Job.
It is a shame that it appears it took a lot of posting to get a response to the issue. I understand that could not be accurate but as they say "perception is everything".
Again congratulations Mike this Bud is for your entire team

No, I can't complain. Just saw this post and tried two creations - from saved listings. Both saved and I git back a new screen in 12 seconds. Something has changed OR the unsupported browser is that much faster than the supported ones. I don't know if 11.6 changes have helped on this site. I'm guessing its just a coincidence.
