Hi David,
Yes I think you did. The name displayed on my auctiva store page was my user name for both auctiva and ebay.

The name I wanted displayed in my store and window is my actual real life business name instead. When I didn't get an answer one way or the other I just went ahead and changed it using the "Store Header" link. I take it from your reply that is okay. And I did change it on my store window display also just now.

However, just now I also visited the "Domain" link- and I guess I don't understand what that is. By default you've assigned my user name. Was I supposed to pay you something for using that different name?

If not, what is the $6.95 a year? What do you get when you purchase a domain? Is that an actual website? Guess I'm still confused.

Appreciate any help for this newbie. Thanks!
You aren't required to pay for a custom domain for your Auctiva store no matter what title you give it, however doing so gives your store a more memorable location your customers can visit. Rather then http://store.auctiva.com/yourusername they would go to http://www.yourdomain.com which also looks more professional to customers and is more attractive to the search engines like Google.

There is a registration fee associated with owning any domain name on the internet, and so it is no different with an Auctiva Store Domain. Auctiva will manage the domain for you and point it to your existing Auctiva Store. Nothing else about your store changes.

Hope that helps!
