Hi, Just a quick story....my store templates disappeared a month ago with a wayward seller. (They stored all their templates on photobucket and then left.)
I decide to change all of my store to auctiva where my templates are safe.
I start listing with my new templates and my new inventory codes.
When my customers shop, they are getting some of my listings combined and others not. So I contact Auctiva and ask what I can do. They tell me that if I list with e-bay it will be their combining and if I list with Auctiva it will be theirs. Yesterday, I had three different items to the same customer that would not combine. I am not really sure what is going on.
In the end all I want is to get my store back with templates and combining sales.
You guys are real good with solutions and I could use one.
Do I continue to switch everything over or can I use Auctiva for the templates and use E-bay for the rest?
The other thing is HOW CAN TWO DIFFERENT CHECKOUTS GIVE ME THREE DIFFERENT COMBINED INVOICES.
GRRRRRR!!!!!
Any steer in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hi rugriok,

I'm sorry to hear about the difficult experience you have had. Ebay does not allow items that use different checkout systems to be combined during the checkout process so, unfortunately, what you have described here is expected behavior when a buyer purchases multiple items that don't all use the same checkout system.

Since you disabled the "Use Auctiva Secure Checkout" setting in your account, any listings you post through Auctiva thereafter will be processed through the eBay Checkout system, but the listings that you already posted through Auctiva while the Auctiva Checkout setting was enabled will continue to be processed using Auctiva Checkout.

There is not a facility available, either through eBay or Auctiva, to remove the third party checkout configuration from am active listings that is already set up to use third party checkout. Therefore, the only way to change the checkout system used by your Active Listings that are currently set up to use Auctiva Checkout would be to end them early and repost them with the Auctiva Checkout setting disabled.
