Hi itsjustme,

Thanks for taking the time to make us aware of your observation. This problem is a side effect of the other issue being discussed in this section of our Community Forum that is causing the "Custom Item Specifics" link not to show up for a number of categories.

I am under the impression you are already aware of this from the other thread, but I figured I would update this one as well in case anyone who is experiencing the same problem comes across this thread first.

We are still working to get this problem resolved as soon as possible and I will update this thread to let you know as soon as any additional information becomes available. We apologize for the inconveniences this issue is causing.

Hi itsjustme,

Good news! We have just updated our site with some changes that we expect to resolve all the problems causing the Custom Item Specifics link and some other important fields not to show up on the Auctiva lister page, so we believe that those of you who have encountered these problems will be able to resume listing once again.

If you notice any additional problems of this nature moving forward, please let us know by filing a support case from under the "Help" tab on our site.

Still not fixed. Now I too, do not have the Return Policy on the AUCTIVE listing page which is usually automatic with my profiles..so I'm not sure this is an eBay updates problem. Hope you can fix this too.

Hi Community,

Thanks for helping to bring this additional problem to our attention. We are aware that the "Item Condition" drop down menu is not showing any values for some categories and are working to correct that issue as soon as possible, although I cannot offer a specific estimate of when it will be resolved at this point.

I have seen some cases in which the “Return Policy” drop down menu has gone missing from listings because they were saved while the issue we dealt with yesterday that was causing that menu not so show up for some categories was ongoing.

If you have listings that are not showing the “Return Policy” drop down menu, I believe you will most likely be able to get it to show up again by removing the eBay category from the listing, pressing the “Enter” key on your keyboard, and then selecting the category once again.

We apologize for the inconvenience these additional difficulties are causing. I will keep you all posted on this issue through this thread as additional information becomes available.

Hi Community,

We have an update in progress which we expect to resolve the issue that is causing the values to be missing from the "Item Condition" drop down menu for several categories so that should be fixed relatively soon.

Also, any of you have saved listings that are not showing the “Return Policy” interface and you have to remove and reselect your eBay category in order to get it to show up again, I'm afraid you would need to fill in the Item Specifics for the listing once again.

I will post another message to this thread to let you know when the current update is complete or any other important information about this issue becomes available. Thanks again for bearing with us as we get these category issues cleared up.

-Mike
Hi Community,

We have just completed our update intended to restore the "Item Condition" values for the categories that were missing them and we have confirmed that the problem is now resolved in all the categories for which that behavior was reported so far. Therefore, those of you who were impacted this problem should now be able to resume listing.

If you notice any categories that still do not show values in the “Item Condition” drop down menu, or any other issues for that matter, please let us know by filing a support case from under the “Help” tab on our site.

What I tried and it worked is I went down on the listing page to CHECKOUT OPTIONS.
I used the drop down LOAD PROFILE, repicked my profile that I use for listings and then scrolled down and hit SAVE. See if that works.

This is VERY frustrating!

yay...have to do it all over again. rework i love it.
I am taking the saved listing and clicking on create similar, then i get to re-input item specifics and add the return policy.

it would have been nice just to do it in the original saved listing. i can see that is possible with your method pattycyn, but they both take the same amount of time and i agree its very frustrating.

lookandbuyme, these days i am grateful for small things so at least its only those items listed on the day that auctiva broke last week.
