I don't think Auctiva is owned by ebay. Is it not allowed to use images and litings on other sites? Thanks. Carol

Yeah, that's kind of a problem. You can use images of your items that you are selling that are hosted on another server. But you can't add images to your listing description (via the text editor) that are not uploaded to your auctiva images folders.

No, I mean...can we make our ads andimages here on Auctiva and place that listing on another site besides ebay?

Yes you can!
Make your listing the same as you would any other time and save it. Then from saved listings page put a checkmark next to the listing and click the GET HTML button up top. Copy all of that and paste it into the lister of the other auction site
Honestly, if you have Front Page or another HTML editor I would recommend going that route. I've seen too many problems using the built in editor in Auctiva.
Another editor isn't going to auto insert your pictures and your terms and stuff like that. I've had no problems with creating ads here on Auctiva.
Now for templates I do use an outside editor but for listings, I do it all right here

That is incorrect, you can copy and paste any image you like into the editor if your using IE. But it wont have a supersize feature or border. It doesnt have to be in a folder on auctiva. I dont reccommend it though..as it will not have a url and if someone right clicks your pasted image..it will show where it came from. Like a folder on your desktop. Im not sure but I think you can do the same thing with firefox..by using ctrl+v to paste.

As others have said you can make use of some of Auctiva's features at other sites but Auctiva doesn't support any sites besides eBay in terms of listing directly. Auctiva Jeff posted just recently something along the lines of eBay being the only venue that has enough users (and has been around long enough) worth their focus.
