Every time I try to save a new item, I get an error message saying"email not recognized". Any help out there? Auctiva help is pathetic at best!

I am sorry to hear that you've had some difficulty with a listing. We are not aware of any issues on our end that would prevent you from being able to save a listing that relates to email addresses.
Typically the error check would only be confirming that you have a PayPal email address in the appropriate checkout field in your listing - which may vary by category. This check, which also occurs if you attempt to schedule or post your listing should only provide the message you describe if there is no PayPal email address in the Checkout section of the lister or if that address is not in the appropriate field on the page (or if the input information is obviously not appropriately formatted as an email address).
eBay has recently made some changes, so if you're item is located in the U.S. you are required to provide your zip code in the item location section, and lacking this will prevent the listing from saving, as will having active content in your listing; however, each of these things would provide an error message other than what you have described.
As you are unable to save a listing, please either file a support case from under the Help tab of the site or continue with an existing case, letting us know the exact text of the error message you are receiving and at what point you receive it. Please also get a screenshot of the error message itself and the relevant section of the lister page that relates to the error message and let us know the category you are attempting to work in and our support team will provide you with the means to send us the screenshots so we can look into this for you further.
