The only way I resolved it was to add paypal to my listings, Ebay now owns paypal, so they are druming up more fee money for themselves, the new ebay rule is if you are a new member as of jan, 2008 you have to include paypal as an option to pay, but they are still making everyone that was a member before that do it too, I emailed ebay they directed it to paypal, and the only response I got from them was " we are sorry for your problems but including paypal makes it more simple for bidders to pay, What a crock!!!! So in other words paypal and ebay just said tuff luck, do it or don't list. I feel its forced seller requirements, and shouldn't be allowed, but you can never get a straight answer from none of them. I CAN'T BELIEVE ANYONE ELSE HASN'T COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS. Some of us don't want to pay all those extra fees just to sell a few things. And if you don't accept credit cards you can't list paypal, so they have it all fixed to turn your personal paypal account into a business account with your first credit card payment, and most people use credit cards to pay, thus here comes the fees for paypal, then the ripoff starts.
good-luck I hope more people start sending complaints to Ebay, then they might listen.
What are the payment policy changes? Which sellers do they affect?

eBay will require some sellers to offer a safer payment option, either PayPal or a merchant credit card. These payment options offer additional protections to buyers. Sellers will be required to offer safer payment if they meet any of these conditions:

-have more than 5% dissatisfied buyers in the last 30 days
-have a feedback score of less than 100
-are listing items in the following higher risk categories (and sub categories): gift certificates, video games, cell phones, computers and consumer electronics

If you are required to offer a safer payment option, you might also be subject to holds on payment. PayPal may hold payments for the sale of an eBay item until the earliest of the following occurs:

-the buyer leaves positive feedback,
-3 days after confirmed item delivery*
-21 days without a dispute, claim, chargeback, or reversal filed on that transaction

Ebay's new policy
I've been trying to list for 4 days and keep being told I need paypal instead of PayPay. I've never heard of PayPay and Only use and always have used PayPal. Whats up? This is more than frustrating. Can someone tell me what they want and how I can give it to them I have checked my listings over and over and over. Auctiva answered me once and I haven't heard from them since after contacting them over and over again?
Thanks Barparts for the link I missed that one, I think Ebay is going to lose sellers, All these restrictions are really to controlling for someone that just wants to sell an item or two, In the real world you sell something, get paid then they receive the item, now ebay wants to tell us how to conduct our business in there triffle little world, the first time they hold my payment, that will be the last I list on their site, I hope they go under by the people refusing to use them. I am just outraged at the whole thing.....
