Hi All, I am a newbie so bear with me on anything that I may screw up. Hopefuly, that won't happen
My Problem: When using Firefox browser, Auctiva works fine, but my images do appear for my viewing. They are always blank. I can list and post to eBay, but the images are always blank.

When I use Internet Explorer everything works fine with the images, however I keep getting booted out of Internet Explorer at various times; sometimes losing the listing I was creating.

Auctiva tells me they can see my images...but I cannot!
Any suggestions!

Hello,

I don't have FireFox, but I would suggest that you double-check your settings/options in FireFox to be sure that images are allowed to display correctly. Perhaps check the settings/options with any pop-up blocker you have (I don't know if that would have any influence, or not, but it is worth checking!).

Hope you find a solution soon, I can only imagine the frustration of not being able to see what images are in a listing!
Hi Donna,

Since you are unable to view your Auctiva hosted images when using the Firefox web browser, I suspect a setting within that specific browser is responsible. Therefore, you will most likely be able to resolve this problem by adjusting the following settings in your Firefox browser:

-> Clear your cache: Select "Clear Private Data" from the "Tools" menu, ensure the boxes next to "cache" and "cookies" are checked, and then click the "Clear Private Data Now" button. Please ensure that only one browser window is open when you are doing this or your cache may not empty properly.

-> Ensure that your browse is not set to block images: Select "Options" from the "Tools" menu and click the "Content Icon". If the "Load Image Automatically" box is unchecked, please check it and click "OK". If that box is already checked, please click the adjacent "Exceptions" box and make sure Auctiva isn't present there. IF it is, please remove it and click "OK".

Once you have made these adjustments, please close and re-open your Firefox browser for the new settings to take effect. If you are still unable to view your Auctiva hosted images through Firefox after making these adjustments, please file a support request using the appropriate link on our help page: http://www.auctiva.com/free-auction-software-help/help.aspx

Mike,
Believe in Miracles!!! I do!!! Tonight I came back to my request here in the community to see if anyone else had posted to my request for help. I saw you instructions which I had tried last week and got no results. The step that had been missing before was making sure that Auctiva was deleted in the exceptions box. We had unchecked it, but did not wipe it out completely! I did that tonight! and it worked!!! I AM A BELIEVER in COMPUTER MIRACLES as well as other kinds!
I am so happy and relieved!
Thanks for putting up with my rants!!!
Donna
