Consignment

One more thing, you can't go back and see what consignment fee you set up with a listing. If your set the wrong fee up you can't change it, You can't see it

What happens if you go to the "Manage Commission Plans" link, then click "Edit" in the drop down menu for the plan you'd like to see. Of course don't actually edit it but you should be able to see it. It might be nice to have a "View" commission plan option so that you don't have to use Edit which might lead to mistakingly actually change it.

I think you missed my point. I created two plans (top and fmh) after I asign a plan and save or schedule a listing I can't go back and change the plan to the other one. also afer you save or schedule your listing the plan is hidden from view.You don't know if you have the right plan to that item. When you edit your listing you need to be able to edit you consignor and plan. I make mistakes! and need to fix them.
Your consignment is very basic and would not work for my record keeping. I'm just trying it to see were your at with it. I tried to do create a payout and see what it looks like but I have no listings that ended since I just posted 8 listings with the consignment.
I us Auctiva for all my listings and like it.
I wrote an Excel program to do all my record keeping I have a lot of features that I need and you don't have them yet. Good start I'm just beta testing for you.

I haven't found anyway to set up a consignment on items that aren't listed setting up the consignment first.

I have tried to see what that page looks like and see if you can customize that page. I failed.

Your items have to end first to see the payout page. I have no items that ended so I haven't seen that page.

I am so excited to see the new consignment feature! This is going to save me a tremendous amount of time, IF I can figure out how to use it. I have several questions. 1)If I go to add a new commission plan and it asks for Rate, does it mean the percentage I make, or the percentage I pay the consignor? 2)If I choose the Variable option, what is the difference in Graduated and Scaling? 3) When I tried the variable option, I was able to enter an amount in the first box in the first column and in the first box in the second column, but then my cursor just sticks there and I can't get it to go anywhere else no matter what I do. I've tried several times, and it always gets stuck in that box.

Rate is the percentage you make.

lets say you set up the variable rate as-
0-250 at 30%, 250.01-500 at 25%, 500.01-1000 at 20%, 1000.01 and above at 15%. In Graduated if the item sells for 500.00 the whole item is charged 25%. In Scaling the first 250 is charged 30%, the second 250.01 to 500 is charged at 25% and so on.
I may have Graduated and Scaling backwards.

First set up your consignor name (under consignment, add consignor)
Go to saved listings and click on the listing you want to and under the pictures you will find the consignment box that you check.

I can't get "create payout" to work.

Can't get payout page to work. Item sold, but it shows unsold. How do I change it to sold? This program looks nice, but it has lots of problems.

The consignment isn't usable! MY first consignnor with 8 items did work. When I first tried the payout for them only two auctions showed up, the next day all eight showed and I was able to print the invoice for that consignnor. THREE PAGES FOR EIGHT ITEMS!!! I should sent them my payout page that I wrote.( On my payout page I can get about 23 items.)
My second consignnor ended with two auctions. The first time I tried the payout I got the first auction and no second one. The next day I got no auctions to show. I tried today and got the second auction and no first auction.
My first consignor with eight auction still shows up and I can print a payout for them. They show up as active Status.
They need to do a lot of work on this and add more funtion for this to work for anybody.

Jeff is anyone working on this to get what you have to work??

Does this mean that the bugs aren't worked out on this feature yet? I was looking forward to using this feature. My active listings are never accurate, so they need to get the stats for their information gathering to be closer to real-time, or all these cool features will not be useful!
