I was always able to crop my photos - but as of today I have been unable to. Trying IE and Mozilla Firefox so I don't think the browser is the problem.
Anyone else experiencing any problems?

When you push the crop button you should see two tiny lines about 1/4" tall where the crop boxes used to be. Click and grab those lines to utilize the crop function. If the upper left line isn't visible, click and drag to the right anywhere in the pic and the line should become visible. Hope that helps someone out there!!

This seems to be one unuser-friendly message board. I've been desperately searching for the answer to why "CROP" image is whiting out, instead of permitting me to work in that window. How long has this been going on? Is there a solution posted somewhere? Also, Will we ever be able to login and stay logged in again. Please help. Auctiva used to be a fun and easy site to work from. Which browser and operating system are you using? Also, do you have scripting enabled with your browser, as the crop feature does operate with scripting? I'm not seeing a problem with a quick check using either IE8 or Firefox 3.5.1 browsers.
Normally, you should see the standard image when you switch to crop. When you click and drag, the area outside the crop lines gets a dark opacity applied and the area inside (to retain) gets no opacity.
When you say it's "whiting out", do you mean the whole crop window/image, or can you give more detail on that?

It's the actual image only, within the crop frame, that whites out (disappears). I use IE7 and had zero problems before Auctiva made recent changes.

I would open a Support Case reporting the problem with IE7 - Vista.
I just tried using IE8 in Compatibility Mode and that didn't fail either.
It's possible something is blocking the script from running, I think this one loads from Google's library. Any chance you have a antivirus/firewall product blocking scripts from other than host domain loading?
In the interum, you might try installing Firefox. It's an easy install and provides a good fallback for sites with bugs. You could also update to IE8, as more sites are now adopting the code for recognition and support.
