Description Disappears When I Change Item Specifics!

I am so ready to cry myself. When I load my shipping profile, I am losing my description. What the heck?

It is named 1 pound priority.

I have no idea what that is. i am in the US. I use a cable modem and access the internet with firefox.

For those using Firefox, I did a search through previous posts and found this.

Issues with Firefox

It's not just with foxfire. I use IE6 with broadband satellite and it is happening to me too. I have to enter the description last. Furthermore, I cant switch to text mode right now either.

hi,the same thing happens to me .i'm so tired of evertime i edit my shipping i loose the description and have to redue.it always ask if i want to save ,but then when i go back to it everything is saved ,but that.if they could fixe it to where it would redirect you back to your listing when your finished .that would be wonderful.have you got any help on this.i'm also not sure if i have a name for mine !how do you do this ?thank you hope we all get some help on this !!!love this listing tool

Not quite sure why this is happening to you. But I will try to help. I could not get this to reproduce the problem you are having. When you load a shipping profile the listing that you were creating/editing should be the page that is displayed. What Browser are you using? To help you along here is how to create a Shipping Profile. First click on the tab at the top of Auctiva.com named "profiles", then in the green bar immediately under that tab is a link for "Shipping", click that and you will be brought to a page where you will need to create a shipping profile, at the bottom of this page is an area where you will need to name the shipping profile that you created. When you are creating a listing you will now be able to go to the shipping area and select a saved profile to load.

this is how it's been going .when i do a listing and i have finished my description and i have selected my templet.Then i go to modify the shipping and payment details or do anything else and then go back to finish.the description is just gone.i'm using internet explorer browser.if that what you mean. i sometimes have to finish my listing at a later date and i safe it even then when i go back to finish. Everything is still their except for my description and i have to do it all over again. this happens all the time.i even did one in the text mode and hit save thinking that if i did that way it would not only put it in the place for the description,but also save it .I was wrong and i now have to do it all over again.sometimes it might take me days to do one listing ,because of this.if you could halp in any way i would be very greatful .i love this sight and even with the problems i will still continue to use it.I really love it !!!!and it's alot cheaper as well then when listing items on ebay. i understand about the shipping profile ,but this as nothing to do with that. The same with me today. I went to do an error check and it caught that I had a invalid weight in my shipping, so I fixed it and then did error check again and my description was gone again. It's happened to me too alot, I keep trying to remember and copy it everytime before I error check and then I could just paste it back in. But I still love Auctiva! You guys do I great job! Thanks
