Duplicate listings

Hi Brian. What you might do is to first save your listings and then post them from the saved listing page. Don't know if this would help, but it might be worth a try. Do make sure you file a technical report through Auctiva. - Barbara

Same thing is happening to me also. One item was listed 3 times so has eaten a big chunk out of my potential profit.
My item was posted from saved listings page.

Thanks for letting us know about this. It does appear that something about the minor changes we implemented last night inadvertently made it so listings are being posted multiple times for some users. We are in the process of rolling back those changes now and this should no longer happen after that.

I will post again to this thread when this has been completed. We apologize for the trouble this has inevitably caused and we'll do our best to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Hello...I have had this problem today...duplicate listings...I have to go in and revise the entire listing to make a new one so I don't get charged double. This has happened 3 times today. Twice it was a double...and once it listed the same thing 4 TIMES! PLEASE HELP!! I also need help to revise my pictures through Auctiva...it always takes me to Ebay or my own picture hosting when I go in to revise. I do not know how to remove pics and add new ones to revise a listing through Auctiva...can anyone help? Thanks!

Yes I am having the same problem. just another headache to deal with today. I am having to rethink this issue of staying with Auctiva. I do not mind paying for a service as long as the service that I am being charged for works on a regular basis.

I agree...it is all kind of greek to me...hard to understand about the fees...how much will I REALLY get charged...and this duplicate listing thing is driving me NUTS! Thanks for your reply!

Regarding duplicate listings.... I schedule all my listings and the interesting thing here is the duplicate listing does not schedule or list...So it can be deleted!! A bit og good news!!

Ok...I do not usually schedule my listings although I have in the past. But I noticed today that all the listings showed up in My Ebay...so doesn't that mean they are listed? I revised them to make them different listings so I would not have the same fees all those times for one item.

:mad Is there any way of claiming back lost money for ebay listings which have been duplicated by Auctiva?

If not, when Auctiva starting charging fees for their services, I hope that they have the necessary infrastructure and procedures in place to ensure that when they make errors like this the customer is refunded with ebay's listing charges?

Whenever something like this happens just pick up the phone and call ebay about it. They are really nice and understanding. I had this happened to me before and they credited me all my duplicates back.

Thanks so much for your help! I thought of that...but just went in and revised and put new items in instead. I think I am going to leave Auctiva anyway. There are other companies with far better prices that offer more than Auctiva out there. I cannot afford any more fees...I already pay Ebay $300 per month not counting my paypal fees. Sooo...as soon as I can get rid of my listings here it is GOODBYE!!!

Just a suggestion that since it's Auctiva's fault, you might want to offer to reimburse lbarton, Pumpkin and Windy. It might make a difference in keeping them as customers...

OR contact eBay on their behalf to request a refund, and if eBay doesn't, then you do it.
