Get HTML button not working

Yes the html is a pop-up. I can't get it to work with firefox either (don't use IE for nothing) but I can get it to work in Opera cause a seprate tab pops up and says pop up blocked.

Ok, i like your idea.
So, I just downloaded Opera and got to Auctiva via that browser. Same thing. I don't get a seperate tab as you mention, either.

That tells me I've got something outside my browser blocking popups. I wish Auctiva would just dump the popups. They aren't neccessary, and enuf people complain about them.

I've got Norton turned off, and I've now tried 3 browsers. Anyone have a clue what could be blocking Auctiva's stupid popups?

Sorry that didn't work, however now you have the BEST broswer out there, Opera, lol. I love it.
I would suggest filling out a help ticket, they usually respond real fast, within a hour.

dont know how you connect to the 'net, but some of the various programs out there that isp's make you stick on your machine to use their service have popup blockers built in (netzero, aol, and peoplepc all have them for example. and i think the one that SBC tries to get people to use also has one)

I'm on DSL, and have no ISP Sofware running.

out of ideas, sorry. you've obviously got a popup blocker somewhere that is being overloked, but dunno where.

might double check the norton one (make sure that turning off norton turns off popup block) and that *.auctiva.com is in list to always allow popups from in IE popup settings.

but dont have any other ideas, sorry.

I've now completely dumped norton from my system. I've tried 3 browsers, and made sure "block popups" was off in all 3.

All to no avail.

I've gone into Task Manager, and deleted everything that started with "Google..."

Still no fix.....

Only thing I can suggest is to call your provider and tell them you can't get pop-ups. I have dsl, and I know my provider is always very helpful when I call.

either that or go to a computer technical board and ask for help.

Have you filled out a help ticket? Perhaps someone at auctiva knows something we don't.

Is it just Auctiva pop-ups? or is it all pop-ups?

If you go to saved listings, and click on a box and hit preview does the preview come up?

Could the firewall have anything to do with it?

It's all popups.
No, Preview doesn't work, either.
Turning off the XP firewall, does nothing.

sometimes it just takes a second set of eyes to see what's right in front of you

load up windows messenger (start/programs/Windows_Messenger or start/run and type in C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe ) and then IM me wayoutwestusa at hotmail.com

note: if you dont have an MSN or hotmail.com acct will have to create a hotmail addy in order to use Windows Messenger)

click Actions/Ask_For_Remote_Assistance (or right click my name in window and then left click "Ask for Remote Assistance") this will allow me to see your computer's desktop (just like you see) and with your permission will let me move your mouse cursor around screen. You will see everything I do, and you will have power to kill the connection at any time.

I promise I wont do anything malicious. (and like i said, you can kill it anytime and will see exactly what i do) Donna, Lisa, and some of the others here have known me for awhile, so hopefully they will speak for my character *slips each of them $20 under the table*

I recommend Steve (wayoutwest) he is a pretty smart guy. And I'd trust him in a heartbeat. I've known him almost a year, from a different site.
