HELP...Current listing gone crazy...

Hi,

Auctiva only has limited listing revision capability to active listings in the eBay system (separate system from Auctiva), i.e. only those changes available on the Active Listing page, like price. Major revisions/code changes to active listings on eBay can only be done with eBay's Revise Listing editor from your eBay account.

Thank you for your reply. That is so very sad. I wonder how Auctiva's Themes can change mid-auction like that? It looks so very silly now that I am selling a roman shade with a golf background, hehehe.

Technically, the only method to change code once it's sent to eBay is by update on the eBay system.

The listing number is 180359608445. I am not sure how to change through Ebay though?

The only method to change template is to copy and paste code from Auctiva's HTML export tool on the saved listings page (right column on each saved listing).

Yeh, it says it has been revised only because I went into auctiva and tried to revise through them and it kept going back to Ebay but I never revised it as I waited until I put my question out on this message board. The only explanation I can think of is the Saved Listing was modified prior to posting or scheduled post to the eBay system with that template. Since Aucitva doesn't have a method to change templates on active listings (through the API), it's the only possibility that comes to mind (other than direct update at eBay with new code from HTML export feature).

You can always use the HTML export feature to copy and paste HTML code to eBay's description editor box (box set to HTML and old code except scrolling gallery deleted). That will replace all the code and fix the problem. That option is open as long as description update is possible (no bids).
