Good Evening:

I'm new - I read the directions - I thought I followed them, all I get for my border is a thin brown line and the dreaded red x marks instead of the Woodgrain.gif that I wanted. Also, while auctiva says that my listing were sucessfully imported there doesn't seem to be anything showing up -- so do I have to relist everything through auctiva in order to get it to pick up in the scroll? I'm not sure about the Template. I love the choices and how you can customize things for various looks and types of auctions, also, is there anyway to access pics already loaded in Ebays picture manager?

Sorry -- if I drifted a bit off topic - but it all goes in the template Wink
Thanks in advance

First of all, I know nothing about html and templates. Do you have your template gifs saved on Auctiva? If not I know they need to be.

Do you mean that you listed, and there are no listings showing in Ebay? or that there is nothing showing in the store window? If your refering to the store window it takes awhile for them to be uploaded.

As far as the pics go, if you have any active listings Auctiva will upload those automatically. The rest you need to upload manually, sorry.

Maybe you can post a listing#, so someone can see what your talking about.
Thanks for the quick reply.

The template finally came across my Ebay Store "Corvette Closeouts" so that's a good thing. Now I have the following newbie questions --

1. Do I have to relist everything currently in my store in order for it to show up in the Auctva Store Search that appears at the top of the listing?

2. How can I edit the Name of the Store of the existing listing? It picked up my user name instead of my store name. (That's what happens when you are working late, and the coffee gets weak!)
3. Any way to use Ebay's Pic Manager or do I need to relaod all my Pics over to Auctva? I think I already know th answer, but I'm hoping....
4. Using Ebay's Pic Manager you can have multiple Pics per listing at n/c. Is there a way to do the same thing outside of the template frame on Auctiva?
5. The item listing #6050220269 on Ebay. It's for Custom Made Rollerball Pens.

Questions aside -- this is a wonderful software package and I'm glad I read how you make your money. Shipping insurance will be required on all my listings from here on out. I DON't want to have to pay for this and after a month of doing this trial and error this is GREAT---

THANKS

No, it should of picked up your other listings. i would recommend filling out a help ticket, they can manually upload these.

Not sure what you mean here, if your talking about the showcase window, it has your store name on it.

With Auctiva you can have up to 16 pictures in your listing for no charge, nor is there a limit on the amount of pictures you have stored on Auctiva.

There are also hundreds of free templates for your use on auctiva, already coded and ready to go. Or you can do your own.

I noticed you came from SD, WELCOME. there are alot of us over here and I'll tell you none of us regret the decision. You'll find out that the staff here (consisting of more then one person) are on the ball and usually respond within minutes of a help ticket.
Good Afternoon -- you really are a whiz and an angel!!! I'm not sure what "SD" is but thanks for the welcome -- if it manual hell I sure did.

Gotten some sleep - dealt with life away from the keyboard and I did fill out a help ticket. Last question since you've been so very kind - can I have my showcase connect to my own custom storefront page? My guess is I need to mod the template html with the location of the file and I'm good to go. Does it need to be on Auctiva or can I leave it on Ebay? If I upload it to Auctiva where is the best place to put it? Lastly, do you have to have the same store name on your showcase across all your auction sites (Ebay, Xshops, Amazon Auctions, etc?)

I just LOVE new toys to work with...

BTW I think you said you really weren't all that comfortable with HTML if I'm remembering correctly and there is something I can do for you shoot me an email and let me know.

...but for the kindness of strangers....
