yes it was copied were you have the html available under the scrolling gallery.
is it possible that if i do it this way i need to disable the scrolling gallery and just use the script that is provide for copy and past

Hi,

Normally, the code is automatically added to new listings submitted from Auctiva. That also happens for new members (one-time) shortly after passing the token with eBay. The Store and Store Window operate with your member account and are updated with the API using the token for authentication.

If you're using Blackthorn to submit listings, you would need to manually copy and paste the code.

Not sure why you might be getting a scripting error on load. Are you sure your token is good? Do you have an active listing with that problem that you could post the listing number or link?

I will post a scrip problem look at my account on ebay rules0338 listing and tell me if you have a problem loading some of them I try and i think i enabled my browser to ignore this type of problem

I believe disabling only stops appending the gallery to future listings. I know that disabling doesn't remove the code from active listings. However, it might also stop populating/updating the Auctiva Store page with listings (that I've never tested but suspect). I see you link to the page. It's a question you might pose to Auctiva Support with a support request. Note....you need to change the code for that link anchor to go to target="_blank" page (per new eBay policy on off-page links).

I see you have a very large group of active listings. I examined several dozen of the newest and didn't get a load or scripting problem using IE7 to view. They did have the Blackthorn logo at the bottom.

Are you using a different browser to get the scripting errors?

Are you viewing them with the classic blue accents eBay listing page or the New layout design gray page?

I've only seen that message with a run-away script or one that's using very high processor use. I didn't get the error on browsing with IE7, but I did get the error with Firefox. I believe there is a specific change that's often recommended on the code for the scrolling gallery that might resolve the error. Here's a link to a prior post:

While the code posted in the Forum was incomplete????, I did pickup the code from the listing you gave link to and applied the Solution #1 (removed the function scrapeCat and it's parameter passing). Hi,

It looks like the saved code at practicewriter is for some odd reason being translated.

Example: Javacript logical "and" coded && is changed to a visual &amp;&amp; in the copy box.

I've never seen practicewriter do this before, so it's apparently a bug at practicewriter.

My best suggestion is to take a clean copy of the code and follow those simple code deletion steps in Solution #1. That does work.

Edit: Here's a work-around. If you display the page at practicewriter. Do a view source of the code from the browser toolbar. That will produce a page with the raw code. The raw code doesn't have the odd translations and should copy - paste correct. Just copy the code between the <!--ASW--> demarcs.
