IMAGE PROBLEM USING PAID CUSTOM INKFROG TEMPLATE IN AUCTIVA

HI,

I paid to have a custom template made by inkfrog.

I have decided to stay with auctiva and want to us the customs template for my listings (i checked with inkfrog and they said i can use the paid template with any listing service)

the template seems to work ok except for the pictures. when i click on the auctive lsiting page for the pictures i want to use they do not appear in the right location near the top..

I would appreciate any help you can offer to fix this. thanks for your help john

Hi John,

I just took the HTML you posted here and saved it in your Auctiva account under the name "Custom Ink Frog Template". You can now find the option to apply this template to your listings by selecting the "Custom" option in the pop up window that comes up when you click the "Select a Template" button on the Auctiva listing creation page.

In order to make information show up in the "Payment" and "Shipping" sections, you will need to create a seller details profile with that information in your Auctiva account and select it from the "Select Seller Details" drop down menu that is directly to the right of the "Select Template" button on the Auctiva listing creation page.

You can create a seller details profile by mousing over the "My Account" tab within your account and selecting the "Create New" option in the "Seller Details" section. When creating your seller details profiles, you will just want to enter information in the "Payment" and "Shipping" sections because those are the only ones the template supports.

I set up the template such that it will support up to 10 image but it is possible to modify it to support more images if need be. I’m also inclined to point out that the location and positioning of the image within this template is hard coded into the template HTML, so choosing different alignments and groupings will not have any effect when using this template like with our templates.

Hi John,

If you replace the {desc} Inkfrog tag with the Auctiva [DESCRIPTION_AND_IMAGES] tag (case sensitive so do it in caps), the template will operate with image placement and arrangements identical to standard Auctiva stock templates (including paired).

In examining the template you posted, that replacement is necessary for all the tags in order to migrate to Auctiva with full functions, eg. replace {pterms} with the equivalent Auctiva tag [PAYMENT].

The Inkfrog tags are in { }.

Did they create a section image for the Return Policy? I see one for shipping and for payment. Usually, the Auctiva Seller Detail for Terms of Sale works for storing the text, but I don't see a header. Do you have a Store page on policy (couldn't find it) for adding a link?

BTW....nice store page. Wink

To get you going, I've used the paired image tag and substituted tags for title, description, shipping, and payment to replace the Inkfrog tags. I moved the images to top above description.

hi danno,
you helped me with my listing template in the past.
i need your help/suggestions.

i am getting a new product (talking pet bookmarks) and i would like to have the pictures of each pet bookmark clickable so that the sound the bookmark would make (bark, meow, etc)would be heard by a potential buyer.

Normally i would not even think of adding any kind of audio to a listing but in this case i think it would really help to sell them.

any idea's on how i could do this in a listing.
