Image upholding fails; images disappear on eBay listings

Yeppp!! I just noticed that about 75% of mine are down now too....I have listing to do, but I am waiting to see what will happen...this happened about a week ago too....

No Images - I have two accounts with Auctiva! Both accounts show 0 images/thumbs! I only found this out today because I was going to put a set of listings on Ebay!!!! One thing after another, I think it's about time I start looking for another answer for my picture hosting. If they infact cannot get my pics back I will have lost hours upon hours of redoing all my older pictures. Very unhappy member! dp2292 and dp5221

No images showing on eBay site. Very dissapointed. Buyers are emailing me - No pics no bids. Please fix problem. Losing money by the minute.

I appreciate everyone's help in bringing this to our attention. Our IT department has been informed of this issue and will have it corrected as soon as possible, most likely within the next 20-30 minutes.

I'll post again to this thread as soon as I have additional information pertaining to this issue to share. Thank you for understanding.

Out IT department has reported that this problem has been resolved so all of the images that went down this morning should now be loading quickly again. The resolution of this problem also means that everyone should be able to upload images successfully once again.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and everyone's patience with regard to this matter has been greatly appreciated. Happy listing!

Well it's coffee in cakes in the meantime! On the upside all we can at least write the listings and save them. So it'll be an add photo even later. It stinks that all the current listings (I run about 600 in store listings daily) will be down but hey, they've got 30 days to come back and see the listing...J/K. Seriously though I am hoping it all gets resolved soon and just trying to find something constructive in the meantime...and hey, this is good for me! Scorpio's are not known for being optimistic!!! I take we have just gone back down with images again. They won;t upload again. Do we have any idea when this will finally get resolved - really resolved?

Pictures are not showing on ebay listings or loading when trying to create a listing. I had 17 watchers on an item and the last hour of auction no pictures. It's over now

This problem has been going on all day, now it's 11:45 pm in florida and for almost an hour the images are NOT working, neither on ebay or auctiva. When will this be fixed???

This is the second weekend in a row that my images have disappeared. Last weekend they were not all restored until late Tuesday and I spent many hours reloading images and revising listings. I hope this is not a repeat of last weekend.

Images gone in all auctions and thumbnails at Auctiva. Last week this happened: WE LOST ALL IMAGES IN ALL AUCTIONS FOR A FEW DAYS THEN LEARNED THAT ALL IMAGES OVER 2 1/2 WEEKS WERE LOST FOREVER....NOW what? If this is related to image shifting, Auctiva can you do this on weekdays? When will this current matter be resolved?

Mine are down too! This sucks as auctions are ending and without a pic, no bids! Grrrr! Any news on when we can expect it to be back up again, Auctiva? JEEZE!

THIS IS REALLY PISSING ME OFF!!!!! 2 Saturdays in a row Auctiva has cost me sales on ebay!! THey asked us to put our faith in them and things would work out! PLEASE! How is it that SATURDAYS they seem to screw us out of our sales and listings?? I want some answers and am sick of it! I too went through this last weekend. I don't think they realize how much work we put into this and how most of us NEED the money. ANSWERS NOW please!!! SOmeone!!!!!!!!!

Me too!! I have some really great things ending and I wondered why everything seemed to stop as far as bids today. Now, I know. I need this fixed soon. PLEASE!!!!

Yeah my auctions went stale too. I wondered why a few things didn't go higher. 2 weekends in a row is unbelievable!

Yikes! I know Auctiva is free and all, but if this is gonna happen at times that are critical to sales maybe it's not worth it.

I am dissapointed! I spend so much money to add my auctions to e-bay (like you all do, as well) and to have errors on my photo's is terrible! NO TRAFFIC or BIDS TODAY!!! DOES ANYBODY HAVE AN ANSWER??

This is complete nonsense. This company has been very unreliable. I'm searching for an alternative. I'm done!

At least I still have time left on my auction, but it's difficult to take when my target buyer is looking on Sat. nights and I don't have images on my listing. Who knows if they'll even come back before my auction ends and I'm sure no one's gonna put a watch on something they don't know what it looks like.

Wow! After using Turbo Lister for years, I finally thought that I had found a great new listing tool that was easier and better to use. Now, I see that none of my auctions have pictures. They have been fine for days, but now at the crucial ending time, they are gone. I did receive an email telling me that the problem is being addressed, but if this is common practice, count me out. No pics = No bids; No bids = No Money. Please get this issue squared away Auctiva. We depend on you, as you do us.

Still having problems!! I was able to upload from about 6pm to 10pm CST but since then I haven't been able to upload anything. The listings I posted at the above times are really slow at loading the photos but they eventually do load. I don't know if the buyers stick around long enough for the images to come up though.

FYI, Look into EBay Blackthorne. I use it at work and I'm getting close to switching to it for my personal listings. It cost a little but it's well worth it. It's also easy to use

We are paying for service! We are allowing Auctiva to advertise on each and every one of our MILLIONS of listings for free, if the images are being seen or not!! WAKE UP IT DEPARTMENT!! WE NEED SERVICE ASAP!

Sorry it IS free for us to list. they may be making money by advertising on our listings but we're not paying. That's what I meant by that.

I've never noticed a problem before tonight, but I guess it's been happening throughout the day today and I've seen from other posts that this isn't the first Sat. that it's happened.

Not thrilled at all. I hesitated using Auctiva and used Turbo Lister and eBay picture services the last year. Just started on her 2 days ago and put 5-6 listings in....and this is what I end up with....no pictures. All the remaining listings from Turbo Lister have their pictures.

It's not worth it to me to use the "free templates" and image hosting. I'd rather pay ebay $10.00/month that hassle with the stress this causes. It it was a one time thing I could understand, but it looks like it's more.

Yeah I guess you're right about the time is money thing, but if you've had to fill your tires up with air lately air isn't free anymore either.

I never spoke up but I've noticed multiple problems with listings due to auctiva.

I've typed up huge descriptions to have auctiva freeze on me without an option to save.

Now photos aren't showing again...

At this point, you'd be better off working minimum wage than trying to sell stuff online through auctiva.

I'd just like to know why this kind of stuff seems to happen during what you would think are the "hot" times for selling. You'd think that checks would be done to prevent this.

Pathetic thing is they can not even reply to us, They lied last weekend when they stated this was all fixed. Nothing worse than a liar.

Yeah, they tell you everything is "fine" so you will stay. And yeah, it will be "fine" at some point. But the problem will persist. Then everything will be "fine" again.

I too am unable to upload any images, and have apparently lost all my (about 800) carefully edited, stored images, and no pictures are visible in any of my 20+ current auctions ending tomorrow.
I was very pleased to "get something for nothing" for almost 3 months, before it has finally, now cost me over one THOUSAND dollars. Better to pay 100 than lose 1000, and now I think I'd better; hindsight sure is sharp.

Auctiva had an image server problem on Saturday, April 21. Their technicians had everything back on-line at about 1:30 AM EDT on Sunday morning.

In this age of technology, these things will happen once in a while. Kudos to Auctiva for identifying and solving the problem as quickly as they did - especially in the middle of the night on a weekend. The Auctiva tech team should be commended for a job well-done!
