Keep getting error on trying to relist old listings from saved and closed

Copy the all the verbiage in the description (Ctrl C). For safety I usually paste it in notepad. (Ctrl V). Then click on the Source button and highlight everything in the description box (or Ctrl A) and delete it all. Click on Source again and hit Ctrl V to paste back your original verbiage.

The steps described will help you if there is anything in the HTML behind your descriptions that contains active content. However, you may also have active content in a Seller Details profile if you are using one, and you can use the same steps with the text from the Seller Details profiles if you need to adjust them.

Do you relist an old listing from "saved or closed" folders though? I can't remember

if you post again from Saved, that is sending the data from the Saved listing up to eBay as a new listing. If you relist from closed it goes back to eBay as it came from eBay and is a relist.

Please be aware that if you have not imported listings from Closed within 90 days of their closing, you will not be able to relist (or import) that data as eBay does not hold listing data past that point and your closed listings page references eBay directly.

Ok yes I am listing items from years ago, so I would use the saved folder then. I got it. I did this so long ago and now remembering as your telling me.
