No images are appearing in the image selector

I have been having a problem uploading pictures to my listing since yesterday afternoon. I switched from DSL to dial up. Could this have anything to do with it, or is anyone else having the problem. PLEASE HELP!!! I'm frustrated. Thanks.

I appreciate you filing a support case regarding the above issue. It has been forwarded to our engineering department for further investigation and I'll follow up with you through that case once I have more information available.

In the mean time, you can try creating a new folder and moving the images you would like to use into that folder. Then, when you select that specific folder on your iamges selection page, you should be able to choose your images.

An easier workaround than the one I meantioned above is actually to choose "List View" from the image selection page. Then, you should be able to see your images located in "No Folder" as they are available on your Manage Images page.

Thank you for your response, Mike. I don't think I explained the problem correctly the first time. This is what happens: 1. I click on "Select An Image". Then I click on "Upload". That brings up the boxes with"browse" in them. I click on "browse", and my pictures come. I then click on the picture that I need, then click on open. Then I click on "upload to listing" and "status" says "uploading" in yellow. It stays like that for about 10 minutes. Then it says "THE PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED". This has been going since I switched from DSL to Verizon Dial Up. And I can't do any postings at all this week. PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!!!!

Dialup could be the culprit there, especially if your image file sizes are very large.

Have had the same problem for several weeks, did not get an help from Auctiva, several emails but nothing else.

Finally found a work around...when you go to select your images for your auctions you need to change how they are sorted from last edited to date created, this will bring up your images.

Forgot to mention that last edited is a permanant default so it will need to be
changed each time you open up Auctiva and do auctions!

Thank you very much vales and Rick. I tried the suggestion, it still did not work. I'll just have to wait until the 23rd when I get the DSL back. Since I only do listings on weekend, I guess I'll just have to sit this one out. Have a good weekend, everyone.

STILL broken
Still not a word from your engineering department

I hate this!

I take my pics and upload them. I know I have written the add if the images have been filed.
The images in folder mean I got to write those ads.

This is driving me nuts!

HELP! I really need to be able to see my images!

This issue should be resolved with our next site update, which will take place in about 2 weeks.

If the workarounds mentioned above do not allow you to complete these listings, then I believe the problem you are experiencing now must be different than the one mentioned at the beginning of this thread.

If this is the case, please open a new support case regarding your new problem.

The work around works - but it's a MAJOR PITA. I got to move them and move them and move them

I can't believe that no one else is experiencing this problem.
Upload images and you can't even pick them from the picker = PITA

anyone know if the images stay in auctiva ...or does auctiva eventually take them out , im concerned about space anyone have any answers i have 1000 s of images in auctiva and im wondering if my images in my listings are going to disappear at one point help im nervous ...

I was told by Auctiva that images are not removed by them, only by the user. So they stay there forever unless removed in your "Images" tab. (It takes forever to delete them but helps to clean up)

I just filed a support case. When I go to select an image all I get is a BLANK screen. This also happens when selecting a template.
I got 2 listings done today, then poof !! I hope this is resolved soon. Diane

clean them up . i dont know where to start and how do i knoew if i delete that they would still be in th elisting i belive onece you delet them it will be gone from the listings. seems logical right . so if anyone knows how many imiges we are allowed please let me know. please

There are no limits to the number of images you can have stored at Auctiva. Auctiva will not remove any images. Even if you were to delete an image by accident, Auctiva still stores that image for one week.

Help need to change gallery image in exsiting listing when i edit i then click save ? or do i not , shouldnt this revise the listing ? how do we go about revises images . i understand to find the auction in auctiva i do that i check the box to edit i revise i click save ??? then what happens . does it save the revision , im not getting this . also when serahcing on each page it is so difficult to create similar , only on imported listings why not on all listings ? wouldnt it seem logical to have the options on all pages to just create similar ? why only on imported and saved ? im not getting it ,
