I go to Auctiva Image Management in NO FOLDER and I see the images I want.

When creating the ad I click on the select image box - I get the Auctiva Select image screen and put it on No Folder and NOTHING appears! When I set it to ALL FOLDERS images are not there BUT not the ones in the NO FOLDER.

Please help me - time is a ticking til the 22nd gets here and I got alot to get done!

HI BTPS,

I appreciate you filing a support case regarding the above issue. It has been forwarded to our engineering department for further investigation and I'll follow up with you through that case once I have more information available.

In the mean time, you can try creating a new folder and moving the images you would like to use into that folder. Then, when you select that specific folder on your iamges selection page, you should be able to choose your images.

Thank you for your response, Mike. I don't think I explained the problem correctly the first time. This is what happens: 1. I click on "Select An Image". Then I click on "Upload". That brings up the boxes with"browse" in them. I click on "browse", and my pictures come. I then click on the picture that I need, then click on open. Then I click on "upload to listing" and "status" says "uploading" in yellow. It stays like that for about 10 minutes. Then it says "THE PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED". This has been going since I switched from DSL to Verizon Dial Up. And I can't do any postings at all this week. PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!!!!

STILL broken
Still not a word from your engineering department

I hate this!

I take my pics and upload them. I know I have written the add if the images have been filed.
The images in folder mean I got to write those ads.

This is driving me nuts!
HI BTPS,

This issue should be resolved with our next site update, which will take place in about 2 weeks.

If the workarounds mentioned above do not allow you to complete these listings, then I believe the problem you are experiencing now must be different than the one mentioned at the beginning of this thread.

If this is the case, please open a new support case regarding your new problem.

I was told by Auctiva that images are not removed by them, only by the user. So they stay there forever unless removed in your "Images" tab. (It takes forever to delete them but helps to clean up)

Help need to change gallery image in exsiting listing when i edit i then click save ? or do i not , shouldnt this revise the listing ? how do we go about revises images . i understand to find the auction in auctiva i do that i check the box to edit i revise i click save ??? then what happens . does it save the revision , im not getting this . also when serahcing on each page it is so difficult to create similar , only on imported listings why not on all listings ? wouldnt it seem logical to have the options on all pages to just create similar ? why only on imported and saved ? im not getting it ,
Hi beautifulstuff,

The "Create Similar" option is only available on your saved listings page because that is where listings are stored in the lister page format, from which they can be posted to eBay.

It would be problematic to have these options available on the active or closed listings page because an active or closed listing doesn't necessarily have a saved listing associated with it. For example, if an active listing was posted through eBay, there would be no saved listing in your Auctiva account from which to create similar, therefore, this option would be misleading and would not function.

Most revisions can be done easily through eBay’s “Revise Your Item” form by choosing to edit the appropriate section of the listing. If you would like to edit part of the description, be sure to click “Edit Description” followed by the “Standard” tab on the editor to exit html mode.

The revisions that cannot be done directly through eBay’s “Revise your Item” form are changing templates and rearranging/adding/removing images within a template. To make these types of revisions, please proceed with the following steps:

1) Locate your listing in your Saved Listings folder, make any necessary changes, and save.
2) Check the box next to your updated listing in your Saved Listings folder and click the “Get html” button.
3) Copy the html in the popup box.
4) Locate the item on eBay and click the "Revise Item" button.
5) Click "Edit Description" then click the "Enter your own html" tab.
6) Paste the copied html in place of what's there and save your changes.

To add an image to an active listing, you can use the "Add Images" button on the "Active Listings" page.
Check the box next to the listing you want to add images to, select the images in the pop up box and click "Add".

To replace an image in an active listing, go to Auctiva -> Images(tab) -> Manage Images, check the box next to the image you’d like to replace, then click the “Replace” button.

Hi sammy7,

There is most likely a popup blocker enabled on your system or browser that is preventing this pop up window from displaying properly. Please disable alll pop up blockers on your browser/system and you should no longer experience this problem.
