Well, the seller is evidently not communicating with me, otherwise I wouldn't worry, basically this item was purchased a month ago, and I paid through Auctiva (Paypal was not involved, so I am not sure why I should go to PayPal?)|. I opened a claim on eBay, but the seller is not replying to that either... I am feeling a bit lost and given that I paid through Auctiva I was hoping that Auctiva could communicate/warn their user to either send the merchandise or give me my money back. After all, the seller is a user of Auctiva. Don't I have any protection?
Thank you so much for your advice!!!
These were the steps:
a) Seller posted item on eBay
b) Auction finished and I won (19 April)
c) Got an email from Auctiva saying i'd won, and indicating link for payment
d) When paying for the item an Auctiva window opened and I paid with my credit card (in Auctiva)
e) I received the email confirmation from Auctiva that I had paid
f) The seller hasn't yet shipped the goods (May 16th, i.e. a month later)

PayPal was not involved at all in this transaction, I am just mentioning it, because IF I had paid with PayPal I know that I would be protected by PayPal as they will refund me the money. But I had never used Auctiva before as a payment method, this is my first time!! And I am trying to find what tools I have in Auctiva to put pressure on the seller to ship the goods to me, or otherwise, to get my money back. Evidently the seller is not showing goodwill, otherwise I would have solved the matter directly with the seller...
Your advice would be most appreciated!!
thank youuuu!!
My first question is, are you sure you didn't go through Paypal? (Auctiva checkout can look very different) Smile Just to double check, log into your PP account and see if this transaction shows up. Usually the Auctiva link takes you to Paypal. If not, the seller most likely has a merchant account where you would pay directly with a credit card. If that's the case, wait until 45 days have passed and if you still haven't gotten your item you should be able to do a chargeback with your credit card company.

Just FYI...Auctiva is a listing service so they would not be able to help with anything pertaining to not recieving your goods, or payments, etc. But it's good to see that you are exploring all avenues to find assistance Smile

Please post back to tell us how it turned out.
