Want to make sure I am clear on your question. You are asking about the support you get when you file a support request, right? I get great help from the guys who watch the discussion board - no complaints there.
That's right I am not talking about the boards, strictly the level of service you get when you file a support case.

I for one don't think it's a fair question and here's my reasoning..
The ones who are normally ticked off at a service are those that are new and don't know the way around it first. They want answers right then without having going to the READ ME FIRST folders.
Plus, face it, read the boards, there are SO many persons who don't even know how to dumpt their cache, etc and those are the ones who get upset ranting and raving bout red x's and such. That's one example of so many things. Basic computer functions are not understood and then they get upset because they don't understand when it's explained to them.
When simply learning a little bit of computer lingo is all that would be needed..
Or perhaps..how bout reading those READ ME FIRST FOLDERS on top before they get upset.
I stay outta those boards, because a person would be answering the same questions over and over and over and over. I've seen some of the responses from tech and to me? Most don't understand basic computer operations, their own software and what it can do or don't do and then get mad at the service or the tech or haev expectations that aren't even covered by the service.

Just my two cents,
Donna

Thanks for your response and your points are well taken. We all started out new at one point. Pressures run high when you are trying to get your stuff on ebay and problems occur and your stuck. For many people new or experienced this is there lifeline and so tensions tend to run high. And yes, I understand that the techs are under a great deal of pressure, especially when stuff goes totally wrong.
I am new to the ebay and website thing but I have a decent amount of technical skill under my belt. I really appreciate the help I get from the boards and I am always asking questions to learn more. I appreciate when people take the time to answer my questions, even though it may have been asked before.
As far as the tech staff they are under a great deal of pressure, especially when something goes terribly wrong (like recently). That aside, paying customer or free user, I just wonder what the overall feeling is about the solutions given. Just a venue to express and share experiences, that's what the boards are all about.
Thanks again
