Preview Picture is not of my item

I'm having the same issues and have the same spacey guy. And my templetes are missing. HELP!

I'm having the same issue - both with auctions I've scheduled & with new listings I'm attempting to create. The template is missing, also, and I receive an "error" message when I try to load my template. I've just filed a support case.

Same Space dude on my listing attempts.... hmmm, wasting time here...

Thanks for posting here to make sure we are aware of this issue. Our engineering team is already aware of this issue and is working on releasing a fix for the problem as soon as possible. I cannot offer a specific estimate of when the issue will be resolved quite yet, but I do not expect it to take very much longer.

I will update this thread to let you all know as soon as this issue has been resolved. We apologize for any inconveniences this issue is causing.

I am having this same problem. A space suit video is popping up in my listing and my template is also gone. I guess Auctiva support is working on correcting the issue now. I hope they can fix it soon.

We have just released a change that is intended to correct this problem with the preview page, so you should now be able to see the expected information when you preview your listings through Auctiva. If you notice any remaining problems of this nature, please create a support case to let us know by mousing over the "Help" tab within your account and selecting the "File Support Case" option.

I can now preview my listing but my templete is missing and my pictures are in the wrong place.

All seems to be back to normal!

my preview picture is just a black square. When i look at the preview on Auctiva, it shows my picture but when it posts to ebay it is a black square. I even tried to end the listing early and relist and it posted the same way. The ones i listed a couple days ago still have the right picture but the ones from last night and today dont. Contacted Auctiva but no response...any ideas what is going on?

I'm scheduling my listings for tonight and some of them are still missing their templetes and the pictures are still in the wrong place. Most are OK but a few have those errors. Hope they post correctly when scheduled.

over 200 thumbnails missing in active listings folder.

every item that is relisted loses its thumbnail in auctiva.

for those of us who scan active listings looking to prevent duplicates this is a major PITA. We scan alphabetically and look at photos.

please fix this asap!

Anyone know if this is still a problem???? I am getting ready to relist about 300-400 items and do not want to relist if thumbnails are an issue when they hit ebay??? As that is waste of time and $$.

I assume this is only on new relists that have closed and you relisted which makes them active with thumbnail issues?

I am finding that it is very, very slow moving from my saved listing page to the active listing page and back. . photos in the active as very, very very slow loading. (old thread on slowness issue was closed so not posting this part on there. .. and figure could be connected to not showing thumbnail issue?)??

Auctiva??? Has this issue been resolved??? As I sure can find other ways to entertain myself rather than doing relists that are not showing thumbnails?

We have since received a few cases (including the one filed by itsjustme) in which thumbnail images for some items are not showing up on the Active Listings page and our engineering team is currently looking into those reports. It does not appear to be very widespread at the moment though.

I do not know enough about the cause of the problem at this point to tell you whether you may be impacted by it, but I don't personally feel this is something that you need to let keep you from posting new items to eBay.

If you do encounter this problem with any of your listings, please let us know by filing a support case and we will look into it further.

Also, I also feel that the thumbnail images within your account are taking an unusually long time to load so I have asked out engineering team to look into that behavior as well. Thanks for taking the time to mention that to us.

This is now ridiculous. Almost half my pictures have no thumbnails in active listings folder.

this is not the first time this has happened. in the past year, a change was made somewhere in auctiva and it messed up images in active listings. once fixed the changes were not retroactive. the listing had to expire and be relisted before the image was reinstated.

its taking me hours to scan for duplicates. i can't tell which listings actually have a photo in ebay unless i click on each of the 500 or more that are missing the thumbnail.

can't we figure out what we did before to get this fixed????

We released a solution for the problem that was preventing our system from generating thumbnails for some items this morning so we expect that any new listings that you post or relist moving forward should show the thumbnails you are expecting on the Active Listings page and in the scrolling gallery.

In addition, we are running a process on the accounts of all the users who have reported this problem that should recreate any thumbnail images for active listings that were missing due to this issue but it may take until this evening for the process to complete.

If you are still seeing missing thumbnail images on your Active Listings page or in your scrolling gallery, please file a support case using the “File Support Case” option under the “Help” tab and we will make sure your account gets serviced in this manner.
