After I close a non-paid item dispute at Ebay and get a final value fee credit, can I relist through Auctiva to get the credit for the listing fee or go through Ebays relisting?

Afraid that if I use Ebays I might lose parts of the listing like the templates or pictures.

Hi,

I know you won't lose the template or pictures on a relist from ebay. I use to do that all the time until Auctiva provided the relist feature. You could certainly go into Revise on the relist to make any changes and PREVIEW before you submit.

If the relist is done from Auctiva as a relist of the prior Closed listing that's due the credit, i.e. the prior listing number matches, (IMO) I believe you will get the relist credit. That's how it's suppose to work anyway. You might check how it shows on Auctiva for relist, i.e. is it showing on the Closed page in the Sold or Unsold group? If it's showing as Sold, perhaps a Support Case to ask Auctiva is a good path to double-check before you Relist.

Hi Danno, thanks for responding
Are you refering to Ebays relist function in the quote above? Are there any drawbacks that you know of for using Ebays relist in this instance like, the inability to add Auctivas insurance (I don't use their checkout) if the item sells and the buyer chooses it?

Many thanks

Yes, I'm referrng to the Relist function from ebay and its assoicated Revise listing capability on ebay. No disadvantages that I'm aware of other than scheduling costs a fee there, and I use the Auctiva Insurance too. I also don't use Auctiva checkout. I still do the occassional relist from ebay. Usually, it's because I need to do more extensive changes to the listing (like add or rearrange pictures and description text) than can be done using Auctiva's relist functions. Because the listing already has all the Auctiva integrated tags and the Scrolling Gallery, it will "find its way" back to Auctiva's active list and appear in your Auctiva Store, etc.
