Hi - I've used Auctiva for about a month now. Right now, I'm trying to edit my Seller Details. However, when I select edit - the screen for writing my Seller Details appears - but none of what I've written in the past is restored for editing. And none of the buttons respond when I select them. Very frustrating because I'd like to list several items tonite. Please advise.

Also, is there any place to look on the Auctiva site that will let me know if updates are going on or anything of that sort that could cause problems with using Auctiva?

Hi- I would write support. Know this does not help you tonight.. but not sure what problem could be.

Also, normally big updates are not done on week-ends and normally when they are done, auctiva gives announcement so we can plan a little bit ahead.

IF there is a site problem that has been reported that is affecting quite a few when you file support case there is drop down that tells about problems they know are going on and trying to fix.

Auctiva is very good about responding to questions on forums (which I find RARE which gives them an A++ in my book) and through support. Obviously on week-ends forums are not responded to as much (if any) but I have filed support on week-ends and had no problems so far.

As far as I am concerned they are TOPS in customer service! (yes, like ebay and everyone else they can be frustrating and I think they will say I can be too) but all in all I find them very willing to help and they respond to forums which I find HIGHLY unusual for most companies.

You are welcome, I just do not remember seeing this problem before and probably something simple that I have not had.

Oh...one other thing, ALWAYS before writing support for auctiva or ebay I suggest clearing cookies and cache and telling them that you have done it. It sometimes does help with issues, other times it could save a back & forth notification.

Also, try in different browsers.

BINGO! I just tried it in Firefox instead of Explorer and it worked fine. Weird. More and more, I like Explorer less and less.

Again, thanks so much for your help. You saved me AND Auctiva a lot of time. They should put you on their payroll Smile

BTW, I looked at your store and WOW - I can only aspire to be like you someday! You must have an awesome system for listing quickly. It'd take me the rest of my life to list that much!

Frankly, I HATE internet explorer. Mozilla is friendlier I think and though not fully supported (and supported may not be correct terminology) by auctiva my favorite is chrome. I have very few problems with it and LOVE it. If I have a problem with chrome I always try in Mozilla to see if it is chrome (but have done that only once or twice).

Yeah, Auctiva, I wanna be on your payroll, Big Grin me and a lot of others. I feel if we respond or attempt to to things we may know then that saves auctiva for bigger issues that others may not be able to respond to. (though if you are like me when it is YOUR issue it is always BIG) Big Grin

Thanks for comments on store, It is sweet of you to even look. I have worked very hard for years, however, I still look at other peoples stores and aspire to be like them, so never satisfied. (you know grass is always greener on the other side) I do not have listing system, just plug along, as I am not the most computer literate person in world (ask Tony, Mike on Auctiva they will 2nd and 3rd that). I think they would say I am a work in progress (just to be nice)

I do have to say while I do get frustrated sometimes with auctiva, that they DO respond to support, they are on forums which I fine RARE. They are there for you and us! My listing improved greatly when I started using them, I think they just look more polished than words on white.

I think you will find the forums a great help. I have learned sooo much from reading them.
