Hello everyone,

I am new here and would appreciate an answer to a simple question. I already have all my art listed on ebay and moved over to auctiva as "active items" what I need to know is how to move my "active items" into my "saved listings" in Auctiva so I can edit them...I have been trying for a couple of days and I am dizzy trying to figure it out.

Nothing else will do. This is the only way for me to edit my listings. So here it goes again:

How do I transfer my Auctiva active items into my Auctiva saved listings?...Please that is all I need to know so I can get to work...

Thanks much!

Hi Hugo,

I'm not sure if you can do that since they were not created initially in Auctiva. I believe the only way to have a "saved listing" in Auctiva is if you created it in Auctiva. Then you can edit it in Auctiva.

If you haven't checked the FAQ you might do so, or even file a support request. They are very quick to reply.

Help also - when I set this up - I have now lost most of my listings and catagories in my ebay store. We are talking over 500 listings. I have offers on some of the items that have disappeared. How do I terminate this site and just go back to plain old ebay or what have I missed that is causing my listings to disappear. I am sick over this mess. thanks for any help you may provide.
Hi Autoart,
I believe I can help..I think you have to wait until the listing has ended. (This was the only way I could SAVE my earlier imported listings created on Ebay, when I tried to recreate your situation)
I went to closed listings, found the imported ones (they were NOT in my saved listings), and there's an option there to move them to the Saved folder. It warns that they may take awhile to show up as Saved, and they still aren't there even tho I did this over an hour ago.
You may get faster help by contacting Auctiva support by using the help button at the top of the page...good luck Smile
Thank you!...That's just it, I did try to get Auctiva help but it would not let me...in other words, when I typed my question it immediately gave me an "answer" (actually directed me to the FAQ area where it explains what I already know and what does me absolutely no good) that is why I took the time to join this community to get help. How can I smile when I am willing to work hard and waiting to get an answer that doesn't not come?...except for yours that is...ha, ha (there is that better?).

By the way, I will do as you said, but when you say "wait until the listing ends" do you refer to the "auction listings"?....or the "fixed prices" (I did have an eBay store for a year and just switched all my art prints to fixed prices and closed my store) I still have 11 prints I auction every week but those are included in the "fixed prices"...now the catch is that in every art print description I have a hyper link that says: "Visit my eBay store" and I want to change all of them to read "View all the prints" and remove the store hyperlink and add the one eBay told me to use which is http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZautomotive_fine_art otherwise people will not be able to find my other art prints and that slows my business down (another reason not to smile ha, ha).

I appreciate your help and will try to do as you said and see if it works or if it brings more questions. You are helpful and knowledgeable, how do I reply to you without attracting other "well meant but, out of the topic advice?"...

Thanks,

Hugo

P.S.- How do I add my eBay web site/link to the bottom of my messages like you?
I meant all listings, auction or otherwise, but I think the point is moot because I still do not see the ones I moved into my Saved Listings Confused Guess it didn't work.

Sooo..I think you clicked on something other than filing a support request..here's the link for that, I think this is going to be something they will have to help you with.
Click on File a Support Request (top right)

http://www.auctiva.com/free-auction-software-help/help.aspx

And I see you figured out how to add View all the Prints...looks good. Don't forget, each Ebay listing also has a link right under your user name with View Sellers Other Items. Smile

Concerning the link at the bottom of these messages...click on your user name here to the left of your post > click the one for profile > scroll to the bottom and you can enter your link there. Mine is old already, I'm pretty sure I had to use HTML and have no clue how I did it ...

Anyway, file the Support Request...they are very helpful and WILL respond to your questions. Good Luck.
