Hi florida.granny & queenofcollectibles,

I just tried to replicate the behavior you are describing but was unable to do so. The only thing I could think of that would cause the shipping options to be unavailable is if you have "Arrange for Local Pick-up" selected in the "Shipping Tools" section. If that is the case, you should be able to see the shipping services once you select "Flat Rate Shipping" or "Calculated Shipping".

If you are still unable to see the shipping options in the "shipping tools" section of your Auctiva lister page, please follow up with us, and we'll be happy to continue assisting you.

I am experiencing the same thing with the shipping. I can post a saved listing just fine. However, if I try to create a similar listing, the shipping method area is blank and there are no options for UPS ground, Priority mail, etc. On calculated shipping any ways, fixed shipping works fine, but I do not use that. Heck of a day for this to happen, when Ebay motors has a 50 cent insertion! Hope you're able to fix this today!
Hi Best Values (& others),

Thanks for following up with us regarding this matter. I was just informed by our technical team that the issue causing this odd shipping service behavior has been resolved. If you continue to experience this problem, it is most likely because your browser cache has not been cleared since prior to our update, in which case, you should be able to resolve it by clearing your browser cache.

If you encounter any additional technical issues with respect to your Auctiva account, please let us know by posting to this thread.

Hi queenofcollectibles,

Yes, this change was made to allow sellers the freedom of using calculated shipping for domestic shipments and flat rate shipping for international shipments and vis versa. This is an option that eBay added to their lister page a few months ago and, as a result, we had received numerous suggestions that we add that option to our listing format as well.

My preview also shows 'local pick up only' even though I have calculated shipping checked. I contacted support and their response was:

The preview is used for making sure the description looks correct. The rest of the information is applied to your listing by eBay when we submite your listing to them. Your listing will post with what ever you have selected in the listing.

Thank you,
Auctiva Support

That's not a good change. A preview should show what you have checked. That's a preview. Bad change on Auctiva's part. Eek
Hi Community,

We are currently aware that, when you preview your listings from the Auctiva lister page, they will state "Local Pick-up Only" in the shipping section. Our technical team is aware of this issue and we will have it resolved as soon as possible. In the mean time, you are welcome to post these listings and the resulting active eBay listings will reflect the shipping options you selected on the lister page.

We have also received several reports in which listings are failing to post and for which the "<WeightMajor> and <WeightMinor>." API error is being returned. Our technical team is currently investigating that issue as well and, while I don't have many details now, I will post further updates on that issue to this thread as additional information becomes available.

Hi Community.

Update - I just spoke to our technical team regarding the issue that is causing the "Provide a valid value for <WeightMajor> and <WeightMinor>." API error to be returned, and we are hoping to have a fix in place for this problem within about an hour. Therefore, if you have listings that are currently failing as a result of this error, I recommend trying to post them in a little over an hour.

On a separate note, our technical team is also working to resolve the issue that is causing the preview to incorrectly show shipping as "Local Pick-up Only". We expect this issue to be resolved a bit later today as well, and I will post further updates to this thread when additional information becomes available.

Thanks for understanding.

I have a lot of listings I am trying to get ready to post later today. If I prepare them now, will they function properly after the fix is done? Basically, if I prepare some listings now to post later on, will they work or will I need to go back through them all to fix? Thanks for the help with this and everything else today. This has been the only problem I experienced in 3 months (far better than I ever had with Turbo Lister or Seller's Assistant!)
Hi Community,

Update - I was just informed by our technical team that the issue that was previously causing listings to fail to post due the "<WeightMajor> and <WeightMinor>." API error, as well as other shipping service related errors, has been resolved. Therefore, you should now be able to post any listings that were failing to post due to one of these errors without making any further changes.

If you encounter any additional errors that don't seem to be appropriate under teh circumstances, please let us know by posting to this thread.

-Mike
Hi 1266,

The issue you are describing ONLY affects the preview of your listing so, regardless of what the preview says, the resulting active listings will reflect the shipping services you chose on the lister page once submitted to eBay. Our technical team is currently working on a solution to this problem and we expect to have it resolved later this evening, most likely by about 5 PM PT.

-Mike
