hi,

I recently signed up at Auctiva and noticed the scrolling window thing appeared in my auction listings (those that were listed prior to my signing on to Auctiva) fairly quickly. Since that time, I have listed a few more items but the store window still has not appeared in the new listings, even after 24 hours.

Is there a way that I can 'update' Auctiva so that the scrolling window will appear on ALL of my eBay auction pages?

Thank you for any advice...

Hi Ravenia,

It appears 35 of your 46 eBay listings have been imported into Auctiva, so there are most likely 11 listings that are yet to be appended with the store window. I added your account to the list to reconcile with eBay, which should import your remaining listings and append them with the store window within 4-6 hours.

There is no way for you to manually import your listings into Auctiva, but you can manually add the store window by pasting the store window html into the html description of your listings using eBay's "Revise Item" form. The store window html can be founf at Auctiva -> Store(tab) -> Store Window -> Store Window HTML.

I hope this helps=)

hi Mike,

Thanks for responding, I really appreciate it. Smile

I just have one more question after reading your response.. if I copy and paste the html code into my auction listings, will it appear twice on each item's auction page? (ie. once from the html code that I pasted in, and once from auto. submission that Auctiva provides? Or, does Auctiva NOT automatically insert the window into each page? I guess that is more than one question. Smile

To simplify, is Auctiva store window a feature that sometimes 'automatically inserts' into my eBay listings (ie. as I list them?) Or, do I need to turn the feature off and then just add the html to each listing I do from now on?

Thank you again Mike.

Sincerely,

Ravenia
Hi Ravenia,

The Auctiva store window is automatically inserted into your listings when they're imported into Auctiva. If you paste the store window html into a listing before it's imported, a second store window will not be added once it's imported.

Inserting the html manually into each listing sis definitely an option, but really, the store window should automatically be added to each listing when it's imported.

crangon,

The prices are updated by our listing maintenance which is done every 6 hours and will be reflected in your Auctiva store and active listings page.

Once the prices are updated on these pages, they'll be update on the Auctiva store window the next time it refreshes. The store window refreshes about every 2 hours.

Your store window also may be cached by your browser, causing you not to see the updates. Try clearing your cache via the following process:

In Internet Explorer go to the Tools menu, click the Internet Options menu item, then click the "Delete Files" and "Delete Cookies" buttons.

In Firefox, go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Clear All.

Remember to close all browser windows but one while clearing your cache.

I hope this helps=)

-Mike
