I am having difficulty figuring out the matching template store window. Specifically, the directions are a bit confusing for me.

On the one page lister I have the box checked for match store window to template.

In the edit store window page, what SPECIFICALLY do you check? "matching store window to template", "custom colors", "auctiva default colors"? All three? One or two choices?

Color Scheme

Use template-matching Store Window

Use Theme:

Grays Blues 1 Blues 2 Blues & Beige
Auctiva Default Colors Red & Pink Oranges Greens

Use Custom Colors

I have the box checked on the one page lister and on the edit store window page and I am still having no luck in getting it to match.

I am still not understanding. I have the box checked to match store window to template on the one page lister.

I unchecked the same box on the edit store window page.

It looks to me like you MUST select something on the edit store window page.

Either "custom colors", "auctiva default", or the different shades "blues" for instance.

I realize this will not change in active auctions.

If I ever get this to work.....will the store window match my template when I preview in one page lister?

Thanks
Mine matches just fine and I've got "Use template-matching Store Window" checked in both the listings pages and Store > Store Window.

I'm actually not sure how it got checked in Store > Store Window though. It may be that once you check it either there or in a listing that it becomes the default until you uncheck it later in one of those places.

Oh, and you won't be able to see the store window in the listing Preview, unfortunately. It might be a good idea to do a test listing but I've heard very few complaints about how the matching has been working.
Hello all,

To match your store window to any Auctiva Template, you only need to select (checkmark) the box on the Lister Page.

You will never see the store window from any of our preview page, if you do then this means you have inserted the store window into your code somewhere and the colors will have been "hard wired" to that code so they will not match any particular template. The only way you will see that the store window matches the template is when it has been posted to ebay and as a side note we check to make sure we are not adding two store windows to your listings so if you have placed the store window code into your auction somewhere then we will not place the matching store window in again. Hope that makes some sense.

Giving you another scenario- If you had customized your own store window and wanted it to appear with some of your listings then again not with other listings...you will need to go to the store window edit page and select "Use Custom Colors" button, then when you create a listing make sure to uncheck the "Use template-matching Store Window" on the lister page for your Custom Colors to work and on the listing where you want us to match an Auctiva Template with its coordinating Store Window make sure that box is checked.
