Same problem here. images and other parts of template are previewing as broken links.
Hi,
I already posted one in another topic, this is just a copy for you guys having problems loading pictures.
So I took a quick look at the <img> tag. Every single of them was like this example:
You just have to delete the bold ones (which are a/[ACCOUNTID]) and it will work. I don't know what they are doing there, but it does work
So, the correct link should be
If you are using firefox, just search & highlight every a/[ACCOUNTID] you see in your source code (there are about 10 of them in my template)

they seem to be ok when posted though , not showning as broken links
I'm also having similar trouble with my attempted listings this weekend. But in my case, some of the photos show in the template, but not others. ALL photos show up if you select supersize photo. So at least the photos can be seen, but not with a quick glance at the listing. Also, this wipes out my gallery image. So for the one listing I did post, I revised the listing to add the one free photo via ebay. At least there is now a gallery photo.
I checked the HTML code as the previous poster suggested, and that is not the problem in my case as a/[ACCOUNTID] appears no where on the page. I filed a support request yesterday, but no reply yet. Any other suggestions?

FOUND THIS INFORMATION FROM AUCTIVA:
We are currently experiencing a technical problem that is causing the template images not to show up in the saved listings and listing previews of certain items. Our engineering team is currently working on correcting this issue and we hope to have it resolved some time on 1/9/09.
This issue only affects the appearance of the saved listing and the preview so if you post listings that are affected in this manner to eBay, the template images should show up in the resulting active listings.
LET'S HOPE IT REALLY WORKS. ANYONE TRY IT YET?
It is now January 12 and I am still experiencing the loss of all the template graphic detail. Has anyone heard anything from Auctiva as to when this will be resolved???
Jeanie B.
Hi Jeanie,
From what I've checked/tested, the bug is in the template code itself. The images are actually OK, just wrong links due to some odd code change that happened last week.
It appears the template code was somehow modified to add some incorrect info to each of the template images URLs, so you get the red X boxes for the images during Preview and use. The actual string of bad code is consistently "a/[ACCOUNTID]" on each image. Remove the string and the image restores.
If it's on an active listing, it would require use of eBay Revise Listing editor to fix the code.
One work-around for new listings is to create a custom template from Auctiva's stock template and manually remove those code errors. Tedious, but doable.
I haven't seen Mike D. or Neil or anyone in the know post anything recently about a fix ETA on the templates. It looks like a "code-roll" scenario to me.

I am trying to list and I am actually having a problem with the Item Description Box showing up. I've tried to use a saved listing, but that doesn't work. I was just checking to see if anyone else was having this problem, also.
Hi---I am having the same difficulty as simply-c, I cannot see a description box at all. I also attempted to make a new Item Details profile & there is NO DESCRIPTION BOX there either. Can anyone help?
Hi autopaper and simply-c,
Not seeing a missing description box on the one-page with IE7.
Which Operating System and browser?

I wanted to add that I can see stuff within the Item Description Box for a split second when I open the page then it disappears in a flash.
I am using IE not firefox for my listings and not having any problems with descriptions, pictures or templates. All is working normal for me, so far.... :-).
While the preview problem fixed up, and the template does display in the eBay listing, I still have the following behavior:
The name of the saved template actually displays on the Auction (ie: the phrase "CGC Comics Template" is printed over the template background).

I am still getting red x's and it's getting a little old. What bothers me the most though, is after reading everyones comments I realize that its not my computer. I have been talking with Auctiva Reps for 3 days trying to figure out why this is happening to my temps. They all had differnt answers but none of them said "O, this is our problem. We are working on it." Thanks to everyone who post a comment. Maybe the reps should read all of these also *My2LilMonkeys*
I did noy have the template problem until this afternoon. While editing some of my auctions the templates that were previouly there has disappeared and when I try to add a template I getr an error message. Obviosly this has not been fixed.
My templates are not accessible as of 5 minutes ago. 1:30 p.m. EST. Anyone know anything? I filed a support request.
I have no templates either!!!
My templates have also vanished and I can't add pictures either!
I tried switching to IE from FF and all the other standard fixes... clearing cache etc. It's on Auctiva's end. Weird as it is, my husband is having no trouble on his account... yet.
Auctiva responded that they know about it and are working to resolve it.
This is a different problem from the one 2 days ago.
I was about to schedule listings, and I noticed that the item description & images are not showing up.
