ughhh,computer shuts off each time I try to upload images

Something similar happened to me a couple of weeks ago but only my browser would shut down, not my computer itself. Go to the help button at the top right if the page, scroll down a little and to the right there's a link to file a support request. They worked it out for me and they answer quickly

I have no solution....wish I did...but my computer shuts down & reboots while I'm in the middle of creating a listing.

I can't upload any pictures to attempted first listings since I signed up for a plan.

How much time to I have for frustration? Not much.

Here was my fix when I ran into this problem:

Whatever browser you're using, try the 'other' one, that worked for me. When I used FF it completely stopped responding and shut down when I tried to upload images. IE worked fine. I had to install Java again (which I already have, so go figure) to get FF to upload but it's working now.

I had to upload Java to my FF browser and that did the trick. I hope you folks are filing support requests.

Images are getting to the hit and miss stage today for the first time since we went to a pay site and those that show a proper uploading are not always available in the listing or preview mode. I am using the latest version of firefox and the Basic Html uploader.

I ran spybot, did a system restoration, updated both Mozilla and Explorer.

I seem to be able to now upload pics for scheduled listings through Auctiva. I sure hope the pictures show when the listings become active.

I started having a similar problem last week when I updated my Java. The first listing I do every night, shuts down Firefox browser when I upload images. Once I restart the browser and try again, the problem ceases. Until tomorrow.

And once again, as has been the case with Auctiva for years and years now, Sunday night listings will not upload in timely fashion.
