Just signed up for the basic plan. Received this message from auctiva:You have chosen the Auctiva Basic Plan. This change will take effect on 1/21/2010 12:00:38 PM PST.

Does this mean I won't be able to list until 1-21? I was hoping to schedule some listings this weekend. Will the listings go through, or do I have to wait until that date?
Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. I had the free plan sitting idle ever since (June?) auctiva started with the new purchase plans and have now just signed up for the Basic plan ($2.95). I'm having problems loading images, so I was wondering if my plan is currently active, or if I needed to wait for that date mentioned earlier to become active. I must be active??, because I was able to schedule 3 listings, but without the images. Going to have to research that part (loading images) a little more in depth. There must be a Help section I over looked for this issue. I'll keep looking around. Crossing my fingers. Thanks again.

hunyuk14, in checking your account I see that you are currently still in your free trial period of and you still have 17 days of free trial remaining. You can list on your free trial for all 17 days.

The plan that you signed up for starts on the 21st of Jan when your free trial is over. (We always give free trial users a full 30 days of free use even if they pick a paid plan long before the trial is over :-)

One thing I would point out to you is that you signed up for the basic plan which is 15 listings or fewer per month for $2.95...extra listings cost 50 cents each. Your free trial, however, works like the unlimited plan..e.g. you can list as many times as you like. If you think you will exceed the 15 listings per month once your paid plan kicks in, you may want to consider the $9.95 unlimited plan.

Hope this helps.
Thank you Tony for your added information. I may be a little confused about the 15 listings per month deal. Does that mean I will only be allowed to "Save" 15 listings with auctiva, or will I only be able to submit 15 listings to ebay through auctiva's services. Let's say for example, I currently have 25 listings "Saved" within the same month period with auctiva, I list to ebay only the 15 allowed per month, will I be charged .50 each for the other remaining 10 "Saved" listings to be be stored there idle?
Is the .50 charge for any listing submitted over the allowed 15, or is it for storing over 15 listings too?
If I am understanding this correctly, I would have to delete these idle 10 "Saved" listings to keep at the 2.95 rate?
Thanks, hunyuk14.

Just wondering why I wouldn't receive the full 30 days like you stated above? I beleive I signed up after Jan. 1, 2010. Thanks, hunyuk14.

Looks like you signed up for your paid plan on 1/1/2010. Normally, we start the free trial on the day that a new user sets up their login id on Auctiva the first time.

However, your account was in existence prior to our becoming a pay site back in June last year. We gave all users a 30 day free trial during the month of June, but you didn't elect to go with a paid plan at the time. If you weren't actively using the site, you might have missed that first trial.

In December of 2009 we began a promotion consisting of another free trial; in your case it started December 22; we emailed folks about it that day. The 21st of January was the last day of your 2nd promotional free trial.

Hope this helps.
